October 13, 1920
7 AM-
*wink wink* went my tiring eyes as it hits 7 in the morning. Mos once again was cleaning up the mess around the grass field while Dog and I were building the unbreakable glass bubble. FireFox got tired and headed towards the castle to get some sleep. Tsk Tsk I said in my mind.
“How is it going up there?” I yelled at Dog as I looked up able to see how she was. I could barely hear what she was saying but I caught the words, “Doing great!” Something like that. I gave her the thumbs up as she went back to work. It was early in the morning and the sky was still young as I looked up.
The beautiful horizon was still in the skies feeling. I love how the sun makes those kinds of colors as everyone starts to wake up. My stomach was getting hungry but I couldn’t let Dog do all the work as I ate like a farmer on a Saturday afternoon. I looked down at my clock as I was looking down at the floor. If you were in my shoes, your hands will be sweating to death and your heart will be pumping like heck.
“Calm down Icy. It will all be okie.” I said to myself as I checked the time and started to build again. I couldn’t get the image out of my hands if I would’ve to fall straight down from here. To be fair here, I was having second thoughts about this project but we already have like a 57 feet glass tall around the Kingdom so there was really no turning back.
The sun was coming out pretty fast as my hands started to get tired as I kept hammering all night, probably keeping everyone up so late at night. But one thing I was liking so far about this is that the oval shape glass bubble was coming out great so far from the top of my point of view.
As I was just about to hammer one nail into the glass, Dog called me from below where I was hammering. “Icy!” She called me, “Can we please go get breakfast? My stomach is going to kill me if I don’t eat.” I looked straight at her with my very own two eyes and I can tell you, it looked like she was going to have a heart attack if she didn't eat anything soon.
I shook my head, giving her the yes signal from below and from there, we headed towards Dog house to eat some breakfast. As Dog and I were walking towards her house I spotted uphill FireFox. It was surprising that FireFox was up at this early of day. She always oversleeps in the weekends and wakes up around 11 in the morning but I didn’t blame her.
Everyone at the weekends wants to oversleep but not Dog or me. We are doing this Kingdom a favor and trying to protect it from what I think is going to happen… war.
Once we got to her front yet decorative Halloween door, I took off my dirty shoes that I still yet have to clean and headed inside. Dogs house was not that big but yet, simple house. Her chairs were like restaurant chairs that you’ll usually sit on. Her TV was hanging from the wall like a Tv at a bar.
“Want something?” She said as she took a look inside her fridge. Now in this situation, I would always say no thank you cause I will look rude doing that but in this case, I was dying of hunger so I couldn't let the offer go to waste. “Sure Dog!” I said to her as she looked around to see what she has.
“Sorry Icy but I don’t have anything that’s ready. Let me make some eggs for both of us! Sound good?” She explained to me. My stomach hurted so much that I’d to lay down to take a rest on her brown couch. “Sure! I can wait.” I said to her as my voice started to crack up.
I looked around her house as to kill a little time as she made the eggs in her stove. Once she started to sizzle the eggs, my mind went completely wild. I could imagine myself eating those eggs in front of me in my head. That’s how hungry I was today.
I got up and went towards her calendar that had a cute pumpkin on top of it. Tomorrow was October 14 and October 15 on Monday. That means when it hits 15, we’re going to be halfway before Halloween comes around. I went to sit back down as Dog called me up saying, “Eggs are ready!”
I jumped from my seat and raced towards her table. I ate like a horse while Dog kept looking at me saying in her mind, “Is she ok?”
It took me like 8 seconds to clean up the plate on the table. Dog was shocked that I was THAT hungry. “Man Icy!” She gasped at me. “I guess you were very hungry.” I shook my head at her as I went towards the bathroom to clean up. I shook her hand as saying welcome to her and headed off into town.
I looked above me and I could see was a giant, glass, oval shape in my sight. I wander around the Kingdom when I spotted something strange. Nobody was around. I wonder, where have they all gone? But just then, the moment came into my head. I told everyone to stay inside yesterday cause we were building the bubble.
Now I was also having seconds thoughts about that idea and yes, I could change that right now and call everyone out that they can go outside but to be honest, it was actually pretty quiet around me so instead, I went towards Smoosh's house to see what was up with her.
I knocked on her door only one time to see if it was the trucks that were making her not hear the knocking noise the other day. As expected, I heard her say “Coming” as she came downstairs. This proving that it was the loud, noisy trucks that were making her not responded to the door.
“Hey, Icy!” She smiled at me with the shimmery eyes she had. I died looking at her eyes and thinking, how can a girl that powerful have beautiful eyes? Seeing Smoosh’s eyes really got me thinking about myself. “Nothing much. Just came here to visit as a nice friend.” She smiled at me as she invited me into her house.
Now, this house I gotta say, looked like it just came from the modal house of 2020. Chairs that looked like the future. Couches that looked like they're made out of gold but its wool. Now I was just interested in looking around the house but I couldn’t get myself distracted. “Beautiful house you got here,” I said to her.
Her cheeks turned red as she said thank you. “Sorry if I’m rude of asking but how much did all this cost?” She looked concerned and went to get what it looked like a book that was made in the 1940’s. I question to myself and finally got it. She brought some of the things I’m seeing in this year but some of this stuff are passed from her generation.
I explained that to her and it seemed like I hit the truth. We stopped talking about it since she didn’t really like talking about it that much. Her past was an awful time to be in and not many people survived but luckily she did.
I hugged her as I headed outside, leaving her a cookie on the counter. I stepped outside and my, I couldn’t believe my eyes, It was already dark outside! HOW? I looked towards my clock, 9 o ten o’clock. I didn’t expect that much time at her house. Now I’ve to get to work before the Halloween killer comes.
I ran towards the tool shed as I called everyone on Skype but Naked came up to me. “Hey, Icy. Haven’t talked to you in 3 weeks.” He said to me as I was trying to make him go away. “I know Naked! Been some time but I can’t talk right now.” I said as I gave him a mini-push to get out of the way.
“Why in a rush?” He questioned me. I already had this bubble on my back to work on before it hits midnight and now I’ve Naked here. “Look naked,” I said to him as I hanged up the call. “I’m in a bit of a rush so can we talk later?” I told him
Something about this broke me a little when she said sure and left all broken. I headed towards where we left off and kept building. I took North. FireFox took south. Mos took east and Dog took the west.
2 hours later. 11 PM
I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was finished! The circle of the unbreakable bubble was done! After 19 hours of hard work, it was done! We got down from our spots and we cheered to ourselves! I made an announcement that we were all done and we were going to have a party at the castle.
Everyone rushed out of their houses as they went towards the castle to celebrate even tho they did absolutely nothing. I was for the first time since October 1, was having the time of my life! No more Halloween killer in our Kingdom, we will be having parties all night without anyone bothering us. That is until I heard something coming from outside. Everyone froze for a second.
Just then, as I went outside to see what was causing the noise, I was shocked. Somehow, someway, the Halloween killer was BREAKING MY BUBBLE! HOW? I thought it was unbreakable!
In 2 seconds, the Halloween killer came inside and somehow got a microphone into his hands. Don’t ask how. The Halloween killer voice sounded like a boy so we finally knew it was a he. But who?
The Halloween killer started to speak to us like he was speaking right through my soul. “Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! It’s me… THE HALLOWEEN KILLER!” Everyone gasped as they step back.
“Y’all thought you can get away from last week! Haha, that’s where you’re wrong my dears. I’ve come back to this well-hidden KIngdom to blow everything up with DYNAMITE! So if were you, I will be running cause the REAL party is just about to begin.
I can’t believe this. AGAIN?
In just like that, he was taking the Kingdom beyond my eyes as everyone ran towards the hill. I started to cry once again as he was blowing up our kingdom plus my bubble with it. We all checked if everyone was here but naked wasn’t. I believed he got buried in the flames back then.
There goes another one I told myself. Again, I heard people crying from side to side. Everyone started to walk towards what again seemed endless. I looked at my Kingdom that was found a week ago. Now all blown up.
I knew we can’t let him take another one of our homes again.
I left crying that day.
Lossing the victory.
Lossing once again.
