Chapter 11 - Heart Blooded

It wasn't like, "Oh, we found a new village down by this hill, let's just forget our old one and start all over. No. That's not the real case why I want this to go on." Hi, I'm shive. Your average local kid that loves to do detective stuff.
I see a shame agents this town that we just forget our real home and start all over in this peaceful village. I personally think that it's a good idea that we don't forget our old village cause who knows! We might've missed something back at our old village that we never got to actually see.
I noticed that all this complaining won't do me any good. So, I went downstairs and started to eat breakfast for the rest of the day. "Morning Shive!" Firefox greeted me with pleasure. My mouth felt like a stink bomb ready to explode the minute I open my mouth which in that case will ruin breakfast for my sister.
So I just gave a mini-wave at her and got back to what I needed to do here. I peeled off one banana, sliced them into 7 pieces, grabbed myself a glass bowl, served myself a box of Cheerios and poured the milk inside of me.
I must've been a slow eater cause once I started to eat my cereal, my sister was already done eating the toast that mom gave to her in the morning and was already getting dressed upstairs. I didn't get bothered much by that since my sister and I never got along ever but I guess it's sometimes good to have one, even if you don't like them.
Cause you never know when you'll grow up and will need some money from them. My mom was always saying that friendship is always the key to life. I spit out my water that day; dying of laughter once she said that.
I told her, "Pff, like Firefox, will ever do that kind of stuff." but like always, my mom didn't like that and I was sent to my room; grounded for one day without TV or video games. I could see why she did so since she thought that the things she just told me wasn't applying to me one bit.
But anyway, before I knew it, I was done my cereal with some milk left over inside the bowl. I headed for the sink to put back my bowl and headed upstairs to get changed to my afternoon cloths.
After I got into my afternoon clothes, I headed off outside to start off my day strong. The sent in the air smelled like peppermint coffee flowing by me like it was telling me that I should get my own coffee.
The thing is, I can't since I'm broke from spending all my money on a new 3D printer. So the 3 years of saving up my money just went to waste on that 3D printer that barleys works. Anyway, despite from all that, I was still broke which didn't change a thing and ya, that was like right now for me.
I decided that wandering around the village won't do me any good and noticed that I haven't been around Dany places for a while so why not go over there and pay him a little visit. Dany has a big sister name Wither that was currently in the same high school that I go to but she was a 10 grader while I was a 9th.
I tell you, the classes between them and us weren't easy to be working with when you have brains that know 1 year more than what us 9 graders do. But, we get along pretty well, that is if you don't make her mad.
Anyway, before I knew it, I got by their house with a sweet surprised by their house. I noticed that they have put out some Christmas decorations around their house to get into the Christmas spirit and not make it as boring as the other house in my village on the other side.
I went up towards their house and rang the red and blue Christmas doorbell that was also decorated. The person who opened the door, I wasn't really surprised to see me greeting. It was Wither who was currently wearing a knotted shirt like most teenagers these days and while doing so, was chewing on gum.
"Dany's upstairs." She told me with no greeting. I looked into her demon eyes and could tell by her facial expressions that she wasn't in the mood in playing around today. So I decided to keep my classic jokes to myself for today while I get set with Dany.
As I was going upstairs, I lightly heard Wither calling from downstairs to clean up the mess I left on the doorway but I didn't bother to go down again even if they were talking to me. I got to Dany's room where there was a kid sign that marked, "Do not enter. dangerous experiment ahead." I just thought it was funny that Dany still had this for 3 years straight without taking it off.
"Dany!" I slowly opened the door to his room. "Shive? Shive! So glad you came! I wanted you to meet someone." I gently closed the door behind me to see a young girl with curly hair sitting next to Dany' bed. "Shive, I would like to present you Pristin, my cousin. Pristin, this is Shive, my friend!" I came closer to her to shake her hand to show that I had some manners in his house.
"Nice to meet you!" I gave a warm smile to her. She waved at me like she had something with me. "So Shive," crossing his hands as he said so. "What brings you here on a freezing day?" I looked around the room and noticed that he has been on top of his job. On one side, there were folded, neat clothes that were ready to be used the next day. On the other side, I spotted his glass window that was filled with bowling ball trophies.
"Hmm, nothing much. I thought maybe it would be a good idea to come by your house and talk about some random stuff. Maybe even play a boring game while we're at it." "Well, you came to the right place!"
He dived towards the bottom of his blue bed and came out with dust on his faces while having an Uno card came on his left hand. "Uno? I love that game!" I could tell that the made him happy and wasn't regretting that I came here instead of staying in my house.
"Aww, ya! It was also my favorite game when I was 4! My parents will always play this game with me... that is until I got into the age that technology came into my world." Nobody said anything like it was something important.
"Well, should we start playing?" Trying to light up the mood a little bit. "Sure sure!" He told us in a quiet voice. Pristin and I looked at each other like we knew what was going on with Dany. "Hey, Dany!" Pristin interpreted him in his mood. "I'm going to go downstairs and get something quickly that I left downstairs." But he didn't say anything but just nod.
Once Pristin left the room, I knew that it was my job to try to make him happier before the day ends. "Listen Dany. I know that everyone's childhood doesn't last forever, in facts, it seems like it goes way faster than we realized. I sighed for a few seconds. "Look, what I'm trying to say is that you should enjoy your childhood cause you only have it one time and that's it. Once it's over, it's over.
So what I'm saying is this is nothing to be upset about but in reality, be happy about that you still have a childhood. Heck, me as a high schooler? I don't think even I still have a child inside of me but you never know."
I guessed the Dany understood me cause we stood there for a few minutes until he stood up from the floor, walked towards me and gave me a hug while I was still sitting down. "Thank you, Shive!" He warmed-hugged me. I had no words for this so instead, I went with him and gave him a hug back.
We thought everything would be okay until Dany stopped hugging me and rushed straight out of the room. I was dead confused on what was going on. So I had no other choice but to go with him and find out why he rushed out of the room all of a sudden.
I reached for my shoes that were under Dany's bed, slipped them right through my socks and rushed like a roadrunner down the wood stairs from the third floor. Since the Wither's family had 3 floors in their house, it wasn't easy for me to get down to the first floor that easily.
After a few seconds of running down the stairs, I finally got downstairs to a lacking surprised in front of me. All I spotted in my sight was Pristin with a knife stabbed right through her chest. I was terrified of the image that was in front of me.
My eyes couldn't take this image that I was just witnessing. Wither came into the room right after me and it seemed like she was thinking the same thing I was thinking. "It's Santa Claus'," I told them. "We know... We know."
