October 10, 1920
The night grew beyond my fears as I stare from the second floor, watching Mos clean up yet, another mess of the scene. I didn’t expect anyone to call me out on this since I recalled being “fired” from my last job of being a detective.
I headed towards the second floor of the Castle as I went towards the balcony. I opened the door slowly since the Balcony door makes a loud noise due to the fact that the oil was running low.
I closed the glass door behind me as I watched FireFox sleep next door. Her room was just towards the left from the Balcony so I could see her room clearly as I was on the Balcony. I spotted her snuggling with a stuffed bear near her arms. I guess she hasn’t outgrown the “kids life” yet.
I looked far ahead from the Kingdom. All I could see was nothing but plain fields in the distance. Next, to me, I spotted a chair somehow out here on the balcony. I wasn’t going to question why a random chair was out here in the balcony for no reason but hey, that works for me.
I lifted the chair up and dragged it towards the near angle of the balcony. Once I did, I sat on the cozy, wooden chair as I smelled the fresh breeze going through me. I looked inside the living room as the breeze started to pick up.
It was currently 11 PM so I wasn’t really surprised that it started to get cold around here. I sat back down on the wooden chair, staring at the stars above me. I looked once again in the far distance only to see the flowers being blown from side to side by the wind.
This got me wondering about something. If the Halloween killer comes out of nowhere every night of the party, then he or she much live beyond the patch of what looks like an endless amount of field that was covered in flowers.
This got my mind thinking a lot, like a time machine that tries to get threw time but can’t progress it. I felt the wind picking up even more that by the time I was finished thinking, the wind around my skin felt like ice.
I couldn’t stand the wind anymore so I got up, dragged the chair where it was and headed inside slowly as I closed the doors behind me. As I saw the wind blowing, I saw the wind knocking off a pile of trash cans in my sight. That’s how strong the wind was this night.
The next morning, I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. My eyes wider as I rushed straight down through all three floors and straight towards the kitchen. “Mmmm, Yummy!” I said to myself as my mouth started to water.
I spotted FireFox in the front yard, getting her car to start so she can head into town. I pushed the set towards me a little, grabbed the fork that was on the table and started to eat my eggs and bacon.
By the time I was done eating, I was stuffed. Like a kid on Halloween that eats her own candy in one night. I spotted a Halloween cake on the table. Now let me tell you, it wasn’t easy taking your eyes away from 10 feet cake that was right in front of me
I did my best to walk away from it and headed towards town. I spotted Limber once again in front of a pizza place. I sat next to him as I talk to him. “Okie Limber,” I asked him. “About how much pizzas are you going to eat?”
Limber took a bit of his pizza and said, “Idk” I rolled my eyes at him as I made my way towards the gates of the Kingdom. “Well,” I said to myself like I was going to do something dangerous. “Wouldn’t hurt to try.” So from there, I headed out of the Kingdom.
I watched as everyone stared at me as I left the Kingdom. Something about this didn't give me a good signal but I still went for it.
I headed up the small hill as I could smell the pollen from the flowers from 10 miles away. On the way to wherever I was going, I stumble upon a cave.
Now, normally I wouldn't go into dark, spooky caves, especially in the month of Halloween. Furthermore, even when there was a Halloween psychopath out there, I didn't want to do it.
But my brain told me that I had to go in there for whatever reason. But my heart inside me was telling me something else.
I didn't know what to do at that point so unfortunately for me, I took the risk and followed what my brain was telling me to do. Before I headed towards the dark cave that awaited me, I grabbed my phone from my pocket and switched on the flashlight and then I headed off into the cave.
It was dark inside the cave. Too dark for a person like me to be here alone. I jumped so high that I almost reached the top of the cave when a bat out of nowhere came out and gave me the scare of my life.
The sound of my shoes scared me, as someone was following me inside the cave. A few minutes later, I smelled something fishy up ahead. I went up close to see what it was. I got to what looked like a wooden door. I was so confused. What in the world was a random door doing out of nowhere in a cave?
But whatever it was, the terrible smell was coming from it so I had no other choice but to open it. Who knows, it could be something that nobody has discovered yet. Heck, I could get rich from this.
But the minute I opened the door, my eyes wider and I felt like the whole world was going down with me. It was bark. But he wasn’t moving, but dead. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I couldn’t imagine how he could’ve got here. Then I spotted a note. I was about to read it but I heard footsteps coming down so I had to act fast and hide or else, they will think I killed him.
I managed to escape from there and rushed straight back to my Kingdom to tell the whole Kingdom about it. It was currently 10 PM so it was perfect to tell the whole kingdom on what I just witness.
I slammed opened the door as everyone looked straight at me. The DJ stopped playing music. Just then, FireFox came from the second floor and insisted. Giving me that "What do you want" face.
I pulled out the note that I had in my pocket and showed it up in the air. The whole room went silent beyond my eyes. I read “If anyone ever finds this note, yes I found him wandering around this cave so I took my chances and did him a favor." -The Halloween killer.
I knew that he or she wasn’t going to go easy on us.
