Chapter 8- A Frozen Heart
December 8, 2018
What we didn't see what the cases that would happen if we let a serial killer on the loose without anyone in the village do something. What this came to lead was a giant mess that set the whole village on fire. I knew from the fact that this was no original work but the work of one Santa Claus that lead for all this.
My vanes told me that we didn't have a lot of time before the whole town went down in flames and have our great memories forgotten. But I won't let that happened in my eyes of the state. I will try my best in the 3 hours we have left from the time that was on top of the village before it goes K-boom!
From there, then we will all be in trouble when those 3 hours are up for us. I will need to call in everyone in town, even some people I have never meet in my whole life before. Cause at this point, we needed every single hand we can get in order to stop this Santa Claus from ruining our Christmas and save the village once and for all.
And if we fall, we would have to take the L for sure and sadly, leave our village and go out in the wild to find a new one. Trust me on that one, it won't be easy doing so.
- 3 Hours Left -
Kiwi:
"What's going on?" I looked outside as I was about to read the note Ms. Timeless was giving me. I shouldn't have said that cause they started to come closer to the window I was looking at and by the time I realized what was going on, they probably thought of the same thing inside of their heads. "Oh no!"
The same exact reaction I would've made right now. "C'mon!" The daughter strangely started to talk to me. "Open the god dang note!" The parents were getting restless from the tell of their facial faces.
So I was basically being pressured to read the note to them. I read, "Well, I hope you didn't open this note to soon cause if you did, today would be the day I set the village on fire and you guys would have exactly 3 hours after I set the village on fire to stop the bomb.
If you don't, then I would rather you start packing up all your stuff before they go K-boom with the rest of the items that would be destroyed in the bomb.
I crumbled up the note to see how much I cared about the note. "Well, what did it say?" Giving me more pressure by the tone of her voice. "We don't have a lot of time left," I said in a dark-ish anime voice.
"Pack your stuff, you have to leave!" "NO! We just got here!" I rushed towards the door, thinking of something along the way towards it. "Well, then die. Not my problem. And so from there, I rushed as fast as I could from their house and into mine to warn my parents. "Well, what a rude, disrespectful girl she was." Timeless soft voice said. "Pack your stuff." Her dad said in a serious voice.
"Mom! You guy gotta get out of here!" I started to shout, even cried a little in my voice since I couldn't see my parents anywhere. "Honey, what's going on?" Before I could even explain what was going on outside, the news came online and basically said everything I was going to say to them.
"Good evening. In today news, there has been a bomb set on top of the Liberty Museum and it's set to be bombed in 3 hours from now. So If I were you, I would start packing your stuff and start saying your goodbyes to this village. peace out guys!"
My mother and brother looked at me like they knew what I was going to say. "Good luck mom," I said in a husky voice. I spit out some few more words before I left here. "Pack up! I gotta warn the others." I slammed the door shut while rushing towards my other friend's houses to warn them. "Wait, Kiwi!" My brother stopped me.
"Can I come with you?" I knew that this was a way to dangerous mission for my brother since there were fires everywhere; covering some of the paths towards my friend's house. "I'm sorry, but the best place for you right now is home. Now go, brother!" I tipped my hat at him and rushed out like a ninja with his cape flying in the air.
A few minutes later, I was at Marco's house to tell him the news that was going on. He came out and for some odd reason, started to shake me in place with his bare hands. "HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS!" He screamed right directly into my ears. "First off, never do that to a young girl like that okay? Second yes, I have heard the news all right thank you very much which is why I'm here in inform you about."
"Sorry, Kiwi. My apology." "Well, need any help in packing up?" I took a peek inside his house from his shoulder and it seemed like they were almost done packing up the Christmas items into the packages. "Oh wow, well okay then."
"Well, I'll see you on top of the mountain to see our village explode into pieces!" "Oh..." I didn't have any words to express myself from that. "Well, Bye Marco!" He didn't say anything back to me. It seemed like everyone thought that the world was going to end tonight when it's really just our village going to pieces.
As I passed the millions of houses that were being burned up behind me, some random kid came up to me and asked me that if I lived here. "Hey kid, you know our village is going to explode in 3 hours so I rather you start running if I were you." but it seemed like he didn't hear everything I said cause he asked me the same question 4 minutes later.
I already knew that this was going to take a while to even explain what was going on so I ignored him which his name appeared to be Zip and ya.
- 30 minutes left -
Gracie:
"C'mon Pristin! We don't have a lot of time left! Let's go!" Pristin seemed to be taking her sweet time cause 10 minutes past and she still wasn't down to escape the village. "Pris-" but before I could shout her name once again, she started to head downstairs as I told her to do 40 minutes ago. "Are you crazy?"
I began to raise my voice a little bit. "Our parents already left and you're still here putting some makeup on when our village was going to explode in 20 minutes! "Jesus, calm down sister! The hill from here is only 8 minutes so if were you, I would start to head up the tall hill before the bomb that is going to go boom erases us completely. I kinda knew that she had a point there so I went with her and started to make my way up the hill.
Now, I gotta say, for Prisitin for her age, she was a pretty fast runner; probably even a faster runner than I was myself. She was only 3 years younger than me but that didn't stop her into becoming almost as fast as me for her age. On my way up to the hill to save my life, I spotted that Limber was calling for help 'cause his kitty apparently got stuck on the tree. "You go ahead Prisitin, I gotta do something." "Are you cra-" but I left before I could hear the word crazy coming out of her mouth.
"Limber! I'm coming!" I shouted at him, telling him that I was coming to the rescue. "Oh thank you so much, Gracie!" He smiled so hard that it felt like his smile was going to fall off of him. Now, going up to the tree to save his cat, knowing that your whole village was going to explode into pieces in 8 minutes didn't help the fact that my palms were sweating like heck.
"C'mon kitty kitty." I tried to make baby cat noises towards him but all that really did was scare the cat more than it already was. "C'mon stupid cat!" At that point, I thought that the cat knew what I was saying in English cause I started to yell bad words towards it and its face didn't seem too happy to hear it.
But it looked like it kinda worked cause by the time I got to the H section of the bad words, it looked like it was done hearing me curse at it and decided to come down to Limber. "Thank you, Kiwi! I owe you one!"
"No problem!" I gave my both thumbs up to it, grabbed his right hand and started to run towards the hill before the bomb exploded. "Hey hey, watch it! My cat is really delicate in heights." I rolled my eyes behind him, knowing that that won't help me in any way.
- The final countdown. -
We all gathered up in a circle and waited for the time to hit 10 to started counting down and see our village blow to pieces. "It's coming to an end. We should probably start holding hands." Marco told the crowd. We all started to hold hands in a circle and started to count down from the timer. "10.

2- wait!" In the corner of my eye, I spotted a kid in a red t-shirt waving and us as the bomb hit the 0 marks. "Wait there's a ki-" but it was too late at that point. The bomb as explored in place, taking the innocent kid with him and the village itself. It was over for now. In our sight. we could only see the pitch back that was going on and that was that.
