October 5, 1920
I stood there, looking at Dany with my bare eyes. I couldn’t bare to look at him anymore as more pain began to grow inside of me. I finished looking at the note one more time as I put the terrifying note towards the other notes from the past 4 days.
I looked outside the Town Hall window. I could hear owls howling from side to side. Birds and crows coming from every direction as I stood there looking around the room. Not one person said a word. It was late past 11 PM, almost midnight.
Just when I was about to head home and call it a day, I heard a voice coming from the back. I turned my full body around as I saw Mochi standing on the DJ stage. “Listen everyone!” She yelled at everyone. Everyone in the room looked faced towards as Mochi was about to say something. “We can’t just let our friends die like this and keep having Halloween parties!” That will just make the Halloween killer easier to kill us.”
Mouchi stood up there like she was giving out a speech. Everyone in the room was surprised, including me. “What we need to do is stop these parties and prepared for another person to get murdered. Then we’ll know some more about the killer!” She explained.
Everyone was shocked. Except for Wolfie. Wolfie wasn’t really happy that she wanted to cancel the party since she already prepared the party for 31 days. Before anyone else nor Mochi could've said another word, Wolfie came up towards the DJ stage to give the audience her words.
“Listen everyone!” Wolfie spoke. “I didn’t spend more than $23,000 dollars just for MY party to get cancel. Plus I’d to ask the government and trust me on that one, it wasn’t easy to do so, just to convince them to have a party every day. So I won’t stand a chance of this party to get canceled just because of some murder case.”
“So no offense but you gotta be more careful where you are and not make the Halloween killer easier to kill you cause you never know. It could be you that she or he is after.” Wolfie explained as she tried to catch her breath.
Everyone stood there like zombies. Their mouths were wide open as she finished her sentence. Jay stood up saying the most unnecessary thing he could’ve possibly say, “In that case Wolfie, You just made it to the top of my ‘bad friends’ list.” Everyone looked straight towards him as he finished. Jay looked around the crowed moreover all you could see were a bunch of angry faces.
“Well… Am I in trouble.” Jay said as he fiddled his fingers.
Jay was banned for today's party night just for saying that. So jokes were on him tonight sadly. 8 AM rolled in quick and I was on duty once again with Neko and Senpai to find the Halloween killer or at least some clues that will help us in our investigating. I looked from top to bottom of the Town Hall. Nada. As I was on top of the Town Hall room, I could see everyone in their homes during their normal day and going on with there peaceful days.
As I was about to look for more clues upon the room, Neko yelled at me from the bottom. “Icy!” She cried. “I found something! You might want to look at this!” She said. I jumped down as fast as I could and raced towards Neko with excitement on my face. “What did you find?” I questioned Neko. “Look at this!” She pointed towards what looked like a ripped piece of a green shirt. “Nice spot Neko but that doesn't really help us on who is the Halloween killer but hey, it’s better than nothing.” I shrugged.
Neko and I walked down the hill from the Town hall as I spotted Wolfie down by her small, stone house. “Hey, Wolfie!” I said to her as I got closer to her. “Hey, Icy! Hey Neko!” Wolfie waved as she continued to plant flowers to the path towards her home. “Hey, Wolfie!” Neko responded back.
“So what brings you guys here? Have you found a trace on the Halloween killer?” Wolfie asked. I looked at Neko as Neko looked straight at me saying that I should answer that question. “Well, we’ve only found a green shirt piece or as you could say Neko found it and ya, that’s pretty much it so far,” I explained to Wolfie. Wolfie stood up from planting her cornflowers and thought for a second.
“That isn’t bad so far! Better than anything I should say so myself hehe.” She giggled as she got back to planting her cornflowers again. Just then, I heard Marco come rushing up the road and stopped towards us. He tried to catch his breath while he tried to explain us something. “You ok Marco? You look likes you just saw a-” But before Neko could’ve said anything else, Marco spit out the words beyond our eyes, “GHOST!” He yelled.
Everyone even Wolfie got up and looked straight up at him. Before Marco could’ve started talking, Joe and Jay came up from their homes and towards us. “What’s going on?” Joe asked. “Ya, we heard screaming so we came up here as fast as we could,” Jay added to Joe. “We don’t know yet,” I explained. “We just heard Marco coming up, saying that he saw a ghost and yelled it out loud,” Neko explained.
Joe went straight towards Marco as she started to shake him. ”Marcoooooo, stand up!” Joe said as she kept shaking him. “Let him be,” Jay said to Joe. “He just needs to catch his breath. That’s all.” Joe dropped him down as Marco hit the ground hard. Finally, Marco got up as he finally caught his breath.
“So Marco? Tells us why you came running from what it looked like your shop and screaming ‘ghost’ to us. What happened?” Wolfie asked. Marco glanced at everyone as he began to talk. “So I was baking cookies for the local neighbors when suddenly, a white smoke with sharp eyes came up to me.
The minute I saw it, I ran straight out of my shop and well, that’s where you guys came around. I tried to say it but Neko was talking but before she could’ve finished her sentence, I say ghost out loud as I continued to catch my breath.” Everyone stood there with sharp eyes in them. “Are you sure it wasn’t just the white smoke that came out of your oven?” Neko asked. “Positive! It wasn’t.” Marco replied.
“Hey, guys! What’s up?” Mochi waved at the crowd that was standing in front of Wolfie's house. “Eh, Marco complaining that he saw a ghost in his bakery which I wouldn’t blame him,” Jay replied. “But it’s true tho!” Marco said. Jay rolled his eyes as he got back to the case. “Look, guys,” Wolfie said as she took a view at her watch on her hand. “It’s 7:30 PM. The party starts in an hour and a half and I haven’t even finished planting my flowers so can you guy move this somewhere else, please? Thank you.” Wolfie said as she headed inside her house.
Everyone headed for Icy's house to continued the mystery. Inside her house, Icy gave out a pumpkin spice drink to everyone inside her house. “Mmm, my goodness Icy! This Pumpkin spice drink is amazing!” Mochi and Jay said. “Aww, thank you, guys. I grabbed the recipe from Pinterest.” Icy explained as she blushed.
Sooner or later, it became to get darker, meaning that the party will be starting in a few minutes from now. “Okie guys,” Neko said to the crowd as she put down her cup of pumpkin spice drink. “This is what we know so far,” Neko said as she put her hands on the table.
“All we know so far is that we have a green, ripped piece of someone's clothes,” Neko explained. “So if we can figure out who this piece of cloth belongs to, we can Identify who is the Halloween killer,” Neko said as she put down the green cloth.
“But that could’ve been anyone, to be honest. Even if it was a normal person. It could've just been stuck and tried to yank it out.” Mochi said.
My eyes begin to drop as I was falling asleep but I couldn’t cause I needed to go to the party. Neko grabbed the cloth of the table as they all headed out the front door. Cars and peoples tracks were everywhere so that means that a lot of people have already arrived. We entered the Town Hall as the loud noise begin to play inside me. Everyone was dancing on the dance floor doing cool tricks.
But Before I could’ve talked to my friends about something, They were already on the near end corner getting some cheese pizza and punch. Everyone… expect Mochi. Mochi was heading towards the girl's bathroom. Just then, I remembered what happened to WaterWolf. She was killed inside there. I quickly snapped to reality as I rushed towards her but it was too late.
She has already closed the door. So the minute I got close towards the girl's bathroom, All I could hear was a trap activate and smashing something… or someone. Everyone notice me as something was going on so they stopped everything as they looked straight at me.
I opened the door slowly, all I could see was blood everywhere around a corner, surrounding her body. Everyone knew what happened and knew what was going down. “Oh no…” Marco and Jay said as they put their hands towards there mouths.
I once again, had tears coming out of my eyes. I believed that Mochi was going to be a great detective with us but that wasn’t going to happen.
I saw a note on the bathroom window. I grabbed it as I headed outside into the crowd. Everyone saw me holding a note so they knew to be quiet about it. I read, “It looks like your friend has fallen straight towards my trap haha. You guys make my life too easy. - The Halloween killer.” I finished reading.
Not anyone said a word. Then 2 sentences came out of my mouth. “2 things are going to go down right now. One, Lock the girls and boys bathroom. Two, Saturday morning or tomorrow, we’re having a meeting.” That night, I had the last words.
