October 4, 1920
“This note,” I said out loud as I hold the note up the air. “Is the reason why we’re all here and is exactly why I got arrested on accident,” Icy explained as she put the note down. I looked around the room and to my mind, I could see everyone had the exact same idea in their head. “Icy we know that,” Mos said as he rolled his eyes towards me.
I already knew from the fact that Mos didn’t like me being here but here or not, I was here and he’ll have to deal with it either he likes it or not. An hour past by and I didn’t have any single clue nor anyone else about this killer besides me not being it. “Any ideas?” Dany asked Icy as he was cleaning up the place for another party tonight. I shook my head towards him as I got another slice of pizza.
He nodded back at me as he walked away from me towards the DJ stage. “Careful Dany, You don’t want to get… MURDER hahaha.” Mos yelled while laughing to his own joke. I yelled, “Be quite Mos!” Towards him with everything I got. I was tired of walking forwards and backward trying to find clues around the Town Hall so I decided to go outside and get some fresh air.
I opened the wooden front doors of the Town Hall as I closed them behind me when I notice something strange. I sat down near a big rock that looked like someone placed it overnight. I saw everyone in their balconies smelling the fresh air that flew by them. This spirit of Halloween felt more like death then fun to me.
I sat down, noticing something that bit me from the inside of me. “Every night of the murder from the past 3 days, All of them so far were taken place inside the Townhall,” I said to myself. I sat looking straight at the Town Hall from a near distance. “But that doesn’t mean anything, to be honest. All that means is the murder had an easier, higher chance of killing someone every night since we make the target so easy for him/her to kill.
My brain was so fed up with this whole murder case that I decided to head home and come back to the Town Hall later that night. My feet felt like they were going to fall off the minute I took them off at home. I wasn’t really surprised since I’ve been wearing these shoes ever since they took me in custody.
My pet cat jumped from his white, fluffy home as he jumped into my lap and gave me those “Ow, can you feed me please” eyes. His eyes were like looking inside my soul so what I did best is to feed the poor cat that hasn't been fed for over a day now. After I did, I was tired from all this nonsense so the best way to cool down from this is to lay on a REAL bed, not a metal bed cough jail cough and take a long nap until midnight comes around.
I didn’t really care if it was 11 AM in the morning. Nobody can stop me from taking a long nap since I lived alone with my pet cat so I took off my socks, covered myself with 3 blankets since I left the window open cause I like the fresh air coming through my room and before I knew it, I fell asleep into an endless amount of dreams coming through my head.
Neko:
I, yes I Neko Sweets was left behind on this mess towards from others in order to help Icy find clues but lazy for her, she headed home to take a long nap from what happened to her. To be fair, she deserves a nap from what she has been thought yesterday so just for that, I’ll let that past but I’m still stuck with “finding clues.”
This Halloween was turning out into a giant murder case instead of actually having fun during this month. I saw Jay around the corner of the food area so I decided to go towards him to see if he saw anything suspicious. “Hey, Jay” I waved to him as I grabbed myself a cup of punch. “Hey, Neko! What’s up?” Jay said as he took a sip of his punch.
“Hey, Jay! I was wondering if you saw anything suspicious last night during the murder because we weren't here when the murder happened.” Neko explained to Jay. Jay stopped sipping his punch and thought for a second. For a while, he stood there and in a minute, he talks. “Sorry Neko, I was in the back talking to Ally about which color dress was better. Sorry, Neko.”
I frowned down looking at my dirty shoes as I said, “Well, thank you, Jay, for your time.” Neko said as I shooked Jay’s hand. “Anytime Neko,” Jay said as he walked away. I’d it with this case. I couldn’t do this alone so I needed Icy and hopes that she’ll open her front door.
I headed towards Icy front door. I saw her mat sign on the floor that was covered in flowers that said “Welcome.” I rang her doorbell and waited until she answered. No answer. I tried again. No Answer. I gave up trying to ring her doorbell and I was also sick from the fact that we didn’t have a single clue of this dumb murder case so I decided to go home, eat and watch Tv for a while. I left Icy a voice call notifying her when she wakes up which she’ll do around midnight tell her to get on the case again.
I left my shoes on the front doormat and got myself a bowl of cereal.
Mos:
I knew that I wasn’t making any difference from this murder case but hey, it doesn’t hurt to try. Jay and I were the only ones in the Town Hall cleaning up the ribbons that were all over the floor as we ate the leftover pizza and drank the punch. Icy and Neko went outside to look for clues as they gave up and went to bed. I knew they were going to come back around Midnight so I had to wait.
I looked around the Town Hall as birds from many kind chirped outside my view. I headed outside cause why not? I wasn’t in any case besides just wondering around and looking out for things. I saw a blue jay on top of what it appeared to look like a maple tree. I smiled at it as I headed towards the village of the Town.
Joe:
I didn’t have much job to do besides being inside my room and drawing every single day of my life. Sometimes I would go outside and look around my Town and hopefully get some kind of idea in my head so I can draw but today, I was out of luck.
I wanted to draw a picture of what happened today but I don’t think many people will be happy to see what I've drawn out of the situation that just went down so I rather keep quiet and begin looking around for an idea in my head. I wanted Icy to give me some ideas inside my empty head that it is every day and give me an idea but I remember that she was one of the detectives that were helping in the murder case so it was better if I don’t interrupt her.
I headed towards the Town Hall but stopped in front of the front doors cause I’d a feeling that I wasn’t supposed to enter the place while the detectives were investigating the place so I sat down near a big smooth rock that I saw besides the Town Hall.
I kept pointing my pen towards my chin as I looked around for some art ideas. Just then when I was about to give up, I spotted a blue Jay flying by. That light up my light bulb and rushed straight home to get started on my new “drawing of the day.”
Senpai:
Yes! It’s me! The guy that works near a cookie shop downtown and also helping people in need. As you guys already know, there has been 3 murder cases from the past 3 nights and so far, we don’t know anything about the person that has killed the innocent people.
Now I volunteered to help around as you guess it... A detective! Part of what I liked about being a detective is that you could wear cool spy clothes when you’re doing an investigation so that was a pro about that.
Anyways all I could really say about the case so far that we haven’t found anything yet. It was noon so the other detectives aka Neko and Icy went home to eat or sleep or maybe even both idk but what we DO know is that I was a loner right now on this job so this is really all we have in our town, me.
Funny thing is, only 2 girls and I volunteered to Investigate around so that wasn’t really much of a use. To be fair here, I would rather be at my bakery where I actually belong and make cookies for the town but I was nice enough to volunteer on this and now I’ve to stick on this either I like it or not.
The noon went faster than expected and before you knew it, the party started as Icy was waking up around 9 PM. “Oh man! Did I really sleep that much? I’ve just been sleepy.” I said to myself as I looked at my cat on the other side of my bed. “Well,” I said as I looked towards the clock.
“It’s only 9 PM so the party just started.” I looked outside the window and as expected, all you can see towards the Town Hall were loud music and party lights coming from every direction.
I grabbed my shoes, hat and my spy stuff and headed towards the front door. I went racing towards the front door as I notice that the music stopped. I stopped for a second and it only took me a minute to realize what happened. Someone has been killed.
I slammed open the front door and all I could see is blood everywhere covering every inch of the dance floor. I stepped in to see who has been killed and the minute I saw who it was, I lost everything that day. It was Dany. I can’t believe it. Dany.
I covered my mouth as tears came out of my eyes. I’ve known Dany since pre-school. He was the person that taught me how to count numbers. I spotted a note beside him. Everyone stepped aside as I went towards it to grab it. I read out loud while tears still came out of me. “This one wasn’t easy but don’t worry, I’ve my ways around and let this get into yourself, I. Know. Your. Weakness. Icy. - The Halloween killer.
I was shocked to see that this killer knew my name. That only means one thing. Someone in the room was the killer.
Everyone gasped as I said it to them. The night was over.
