Rip

It’s so upsetting. I can’t imagine what the father was feeling knowing he couldn’t do anything to protect his baby girl. His wife lost her husband and child, those little girls lost their daddy and sister. my whole heart goes out to that family and everyone else who’s life was taken way too soon.

tomorrow is never promised, please love your family every chance you get. I grew up playing basketball and this man was an absolute icon to my dad (who also played basketball) I just can’t believe such a incredible soul is gone, my family has sat in disbelief all day and was so devastated by this news. I hoped and prayed the news about his daughter wasn’t true but finding out it actually was.. just so freaking unfortunate, this world is so tragic. It’s so sad how the best of people are taken too soon. Rest in peace angels </3

this just goes to show even the people you don’t know can affect you & others so deeply, wherever you’re a basketball / sports fan I think this news has broken everyone. Please treat everyone with kindness, today has been such a bittersweet day.

It really is sad, my parents were shocked when we saw the news on TV at a restaurant. And tbh I’m not a sports person, meaning I don’t watch/I’m not a fan of any sports shows, so really all I know was that he was a basketball star; but it still is devastating because like said above, it would be hard to imagine being his wife, knowing her husband and daughter died because they both lived such a short life. Rest In Peace

It's too bad. That's horrible that it happened. Like pineapple said, tomorrow is never promised. Make every day worth it.

Edit: when I saw the news i couldnt believe it, he seemed like such a great person that positively impacted many people's lives. Try to be like him, it will make the world a better place.

i was supposed to watch Celtics vs Pelicans (im a celtics fan) but when i was finding live streams, it says celtics, pelicans pay tribute to Kobe Bryant and i was like what? then i search in Google then i saw Kobe Bryant passed away. Then i got so emotional.

IKR, and for forums too! 3-4 people left, famous, really nice dude, and his daughter died. ITS ONLY JANUARY
frr. it’s gonna be a dramatic/tragic year.

my friends and i also have a theory involving celeb drama that someone will get a divorce (not making who) so we aren’t helping lmao

when I saw the video of D-Wade crying about this, I started crying. even though I never knew Kobe personally, he was my idol. he sparked my interest for basketball. im still torn about this. r.i.p mamba and one of the best basketball players ever. <3
