Remove Sliding Effect

Hello!
I was wondering if there is any possible chance or way to remove the sliding effect on the Ice in the map: Skating Wonderland. It messes up the game-play and when you try to stop it slides you like an extra block farther then where you originally stopped, causing you to fall into the void if the is a hole there. Or maybe instead of removing the sliding effect- maybe replacing it with Light Blue Concrete. Or (if this is possible) replace ice with some other non-sliding block but with the design of ice. @vertx ?

I agree but I think the point of the map is for you to slide
