Hello there, I've came with a really annoying subject (for me especially), which includes the PvP unfair damage for Java Edition players such as me and others. I'm coming with an example which happenend to me:
I was in a skywars match, and ive got an iron sword from a chest. In my mind i was like "Its my match". I went to someones island, they were with the same armor and sword as me, so it had to be easy to beat them because I'm a pretty skilled player on pc. With 5 hits, I barely dealt 1,5 hearts from them, and also from 5 hits, he dealt 7 hearts from me (With Chain Armor). The damage is not fair, For example, with a diamond sword, we have to hit someone with no armor over 15-20 times, meanwhile they hit us (Java Players) 3 times and we are dead.
For VertX and all staffs, you have to talk about that and fix that problem because its a serious one
 
well, if they buff pc players damage again then they'll likely have an unfair advantage over pe. it's a hard thing to balance.
Then why this server is available for java edition if it always gets nerfed of everything and we can only play 3 or 4 minigames instead of all of them? That Java Edition needs to be fair like Bedrock and PE. Its still minecraft, not other kind of game. Thats it, the PE players will be unlucky. it doesnt mean that we have to be lowered in their face and get killed in 3-4 hits while we need to hit them over 50 times

I just joined and playied one sw match. With a diamond sword, their damage was like this "100-98-98-95-93-93-90" and thats how continues. Do you think that its fair for us to hit someone over 6 times to deal 1 heart damage? I dont think so.

I agree with that but it’s hard to make everything balanced! You can’t please anyone but maybe have Java do more damage but not so much that it’s unfair for others.
Java and Bedrock are both same in damage but different editions. Everything deals the same damage. They have to fix it because the Java edition is currently the most useless one.

Every noob is able to beat the pro players with a few hits meanwhile we need 40-50 yk? Thats what i mean.
hm okay i see what you’re saying how much damage do you think java should do so that is fair for them and fair for mobile

Umm, like Diamond swors should deal 7 Points Damage as it says, the Iron sword, 6 points of damage, not 0.1 each of them
That would be pretty unfair for mobile because of how agile Java is but lets have some experienced people who know more than me on this conversation idk who is and who isn’t so ill just wait
