@_HamsomeHam_ Ham and I watched him last night- I agree his hits looked very sus- Ham fought him- he also checked his own and clapse’s connection and both were fine- Ham start a convo with Ssun to tell her your findings please unless you want to discuss it here - I gtg sleep

i really hate this fella. he's really toxic and when i invited him to a duel he cowardly declined. but yeah those hits are really suspicious its possible it may be lag? i think what happened was you lagged mid-air thats why he got those hits. this also explains how sometimes you cant hit him. in the first vid you can see him get 2 hits by hitting the air so maybe just maybe you lagged mid-air and that in his perspective you were flying? im not clearing him tho just a theory

fr, I normally can hit everyone except him, and anybody can't hit me from far away except him. nice theory :thumbsup:

also in some point of the video you paused for a little bit and start dealing some hits maybe thats the point where you stopped lagging idk i play mw

It's not what you want to hear, but I think that it's likely your internet connection. You have smooth FPS and that's great, but even so, your internet plays a huge part. Or well, it might not even be your internet, it may be server lag.

I've played with Clapse before, and he has a variation with signals. On some days he's at excellent connection, and on others he is at bad connection. As for reach, I can't say much about that. In the first recording, he looks really suspicious, but I must say that it's odd.

Of course, I'm gonna be a little biased because I'm a friend of his, but I doubt he hacked while fighting.

I can compile some recordings and show how he fights just like others.

I'm gonna pull a Tom Scott and say: "Clapse's Hitbox reach isn't broken. The World's Is."

Alright, so sometimes when we PVP on Broken Lens, it seems like our hitboxes are bigger. We can all admit that Broken Lens PVP is a lot different than regular 1.8 or 1.16 pvp. Now, let's put that into consideration, and something else:

Java Edition. Yes, Broken Lens is cross-play between Java and Bedrock platforms. Even so, Broken Lens states time and time again that Java will likely be glitched and have a lot of bugs. Simply one of them are invis players.

I'm getting a little off-topic, but even so, I think these reminders help Clapse's case. Yes, his hits seem suspicious, but I'm debunking the possibility of him having Safe Aura, which basically allows you to score hits, even without having your crosshair on the target.

Now, reach is the only thing in question, and I intend on finding proof to debunk that.

I'd like to say that Bad Internet Connection isn't my problem. On other servers (as H1ve) i have 40-50 ms, while on BrokenLens 170-190ms, but as usual I don't feel it while playing.

Unfortunately, BrokenLens has server(s) that located in USA or Canada. I'm living in Europe, so my ping isn't really good because of it.
