Okay...so I'm very aggravated rn because like...I'm po'ed that people assume Homeschoolers are lazy, uneducated, only on devices, etc. Like wow, how dare people assume that. What are people people being told. That we get to stay in bed and do whatever we want when it's convenient. Y'all are sadly mistaken.

Homeschoolers have it so hard because of the fact we are home schooled. And we have to work even harder because of the stupid label people put on us. Assuming that because we don't go to school we won't make it in life,were not smart, like fr how dare some people even say stuff like that and assume ALL homeschoolers are that way.

I'm homeschooled, I'm 16, I work literally 3 jobs and I'm successful in ALL OF THEM, I'm even the executive assistant to the CEO of one I HELPED TO CREATE so like sit down somewhere. And I'm graduating soon. Heck if we're so sorry why is it that so many people get held back in school. Why do you text in the middle of class when your bored.

Lmao people assume because since we're home we got it easy and that's not even how it is. Not for EVERYONE. I have a STRICT schedule and parents and you still see I'm still making a wonderful life for myself. You still see with my schedule I'm active and everything like. Fr people need to chill. Some comments people make are so insensitive and the fact people fr just assumed homeschooled students are "stupid" and public shooled kids become "geniuses" is overkill. If that's the case why you still working cashier at Mc.donalds like your degrees should have you a good department anywhere. I'm so mad rn. How dare people even say such a thing.

And don't come on this thread arguing.

I use to be public schooled and I see a HUGE difference. I'm actually 2x smarter and more successful BECAUSE I LEFT (not saying public schoolers are dumb, I'm saying that I see improvement in my entire life since I "ME, MYSELF" left). I don't deal with with half the things public schoolers experience because I'm at home, and no I don't waste my life away on electronics and stay in my pajamas. Like fr y'all. Come-on. If your gonna make a comment on homeschoolers DONT ASSUME ALL homeschoolers are like that. I'm nothing like those......sorry people.

And it's even worse for the parents. Like it's fr so sad how were treated...

And it's not only homeschooling your kids parents (mother's) get talked bad about. Like being a stay at home mom (and not having a job) is shunned and reviled.

Embrace who you are and don't let others get you down. I'm sure they're just jealous that you can go to the fridge and make yourself a sandwich whenever you please. I went to private school growing up, not that It's the same as homeschool, but I still understand your feelings.
As hard as it may seem, don't worry what other people think about you. Everything will turn out ok if you can keep being happy :D

Yes I can agree. I've even had people ask me if I had friends or if I was social. I'm like I have tons of friends. And I'm very, very social.

Oh don't worry. I don't usually let it get to me at all. I love being homeschooled and I won't allow anyone to steal my happiness. It's just that recently so done made a very, over the top comment and it offended me. But as I said I usually don't allow MANY things to get to me or bother me.

But I'm guessing people say that mean stuff because most homeschoolers (MOST) only have to do like 3 hours of school work and then they're free the rest of the day, while public schoolers have to spend 7 hours at school.
Depends on the parenting. I know homeschoolers who only spend a few hours doing schoolwork and then they play video games the rest of the day.

But i also know homeschoolers who have very successful jobs and are succeeding in life.


Really depends on how you are raised, and how your parents decide to teach you.

One thing I find the funniest is that people think I sleep and and can stay in my PJs all day I'm like lol (≧▽≦). No, no I gotta wake up at 6 am and be dressed by 7 lol. I always just found that kinda funny...hehe.

i used to be homeschooled too and i never heard of this stereotype, but i can kinda understand where its coming from. and its true though. i'm not homeschooled anymore, but i had to work harder when i did now.

imo, i think homeschool is better. you don’t have to have teachers screaming at you, you’re not pressured to do meaningless worksheets, etc. my opinion tho ;/
