Randomly muted?

Hi, I was playing on the server and suddenly I could not type in chat anymore.

Have I been muted?, or is it just a glitch?

Two of my friends have been muted lately and I’m wondering if it is a bug, or they both (and possibly me) got muted around the same time space.

If it says "ERROR You are muted. Your mute expires in <date>" You're muted

it doesn’t say that, it just would let me type, but it’s working now.
