You can eat popcorn, though it'll be annoying to get the crumbs stuck in between the bracers and teeth, and gum is definitely a no no (it's hard to eat Skittles :c )

bro i eat doritos everyday
my orthodontist lets me eat legit anything as long as it doesn’t mess up my brackets (just don’t bite tootsie pops and other lollipops, i learned that the hard way)
