hi! I just wanted to ask; if any of you guys have had or atm have braces?

Braces -> Orthodontic Braces ;p

if yes,

*how long did you have them? (if your braces treatment is over)
* how long are you going to have them? (if you still have them on)

My Answer:
Yes, I had braces for over 18 months (1.5 years)
Timeline > 24th April 2017 - 3rd December 2018

Still have mine
Had them on for 2 1/2 years
supposed to get them off this month but my orthodontist was like "NOPE" and i have to keep them on for another 6 months

I hated them at first back in 4 grade when they first had to tighten them since I was just getting them. The pain felt like a knife being pushed into your teeth.

man, you’re right with the pain part - I couldn’t even brush my teeth properly or eat soft bread -

The first week with them was legit hell... I was physically in pain and lolz looking back now, all the complaining and orthodontic appointments were all worth it :D

I still have them, for about 2 years now. The first week of getting them hurt, but that's basically it. I love my braces

I actually kinda liked my braces. I was very insecure with my teeth before braces. Braces helped me regain confidence and now I feel heaps more better to smile :)

i’ve had them on for 13 months and i’m supposed to get them off in 5ish months, but it’ll probably end up being a little longer than that

it hurt a bunch when i got them put on - i couldn’t brush my teeth without wincing and couldn’t eat without feeling like dying, but the pain goes away. they used to hurt when i got the wires tightened, but not really anymore. other than that, i love my braces. they make me feel so much more confident about my teeth and smile, and i’ll be sad when i get them taken off
