"staff dont ban without proof."
This is clearly false, or the Staff doesn't understand the validity of proof. Proof that isn't 100%, or if there is any lick of incredibility of the evidence, isn't proof. Accepting accusations that don't have a satisfactory amount of credibility is both negligent and irresponsible.
There could be a hundred explanations as to what is happening in that screenshot, ranging from lag to bugs. You have to think about what it took for that photo to come into fruition. It took one person on a device making the movements, being sent to a server, and sending it to another person's screen. There's a lot of room for error in this process, especially since this server isn't the best when it comes to stability and reliability, which leads me to my next point. I understand this server has an abundance of hackers with malicious intent to win every game and kill every player. I've come across them on other servers and Realms too. Of course that'd make the Staff suspicious of everyone. Although, you can't ban just based on a photo, no matter how reputable the reporter is. Now, maybe if three different people made a report on the same player, showing screenshots of the action, then that's credible. Even then, photos can still be doctored, however, I'm not saying this one was. To confidently ban a player who enjoys the game, there'd have to a be a reputable moderator on scene, collecting evidence that can be referred to at a later date. Personally, I don't appreciate how the moderators on this thread are treating me as someone who ruins the game for other players, and as a hacker. It's unprofessional and condescending to say the least.
From what I've seen from the few days I've been on this forum, the Staff seems to only resolve ban appeals of people who admit to doing what they were banned for. The people who were wrongly accused and banned can't get unbanned because they appear to be arguing, or as straight up liars. The only way to be unbanned is to admit to an accusation, to be submissive, no matter how innocent that player truly is. I'm not about to lie and say "I'm guilty, I'll never hack, I'm so sorry" just to play another game of "Hide & Seek."
My request to speak with someone above the Staff and Notable Members is still standing. Somebody recruited the staff, and is more versed in these kind of situations.
