Well, I would suggest to get a screen repair at the mall or something, but the cons to that is that the screen could have some issues (i.e. unresponsive touch). But, there is always another option of getting Minecraft on your computer or getting a new device.

New device would mean I would lose my data on everything but Minecraft since I can login to my account. Also I'm working on a map for idk what game so I don't wanna do that. Screen repair would be the best option imo since I keep my data and get a fresh new screen, I agree there would be problems with the screen but depends on who you are asking, if someone does their job very well it would be costly but at least there aren't crackes anymore.

If you are in sync with Icloud, all you have to do is type your icloud account information and then your done.
