If you mean Minecraft PE, here are my answers.

What is the most useless item in Minecraft?
Most people would say the emerald, since there isn't much you can do with it in vanilla Minecraft, but I disagree. The most useless item in Minecraft would have to be.. nothing! There is no exact item in Minecraft that is completely useless, because all of the items were added for a reason.

What is the most useful item in Minecraft?
Hmm, I guess diamonds? Since they can provide you with armour, weapons, tools, and a beacon. And many other things.

What is the item that must be added into Minecraft?
Well, there isn't much I can say, since you could just download add-ons. But if I had to choose, music. The music in the background, I mean. Because in MCPE, you have to download it separately, and it's larger than MCPE itself, which makes no sense tbh. So I think Mojang should just implement the music into MCPE itself so that players don't have to download the music separately.

These are my answers. ( My own opinions, by the way. )

The most useless item in Minecraft~~
Possibly, the emerald.
You can't really do anything with emerald, apart from trading them for other items with villagers.
But, it's useless in MCPE, because you can't trade ( Not yet, at least. )
Apart from Emerald, I would have to say the Sponge Block.
Like, seriously, what is it supposed to do? The only thing it's useful for is decoration.

The most useful item in Minecraft~~
We can all agree, diamonds are pretty important.
But, what do you need to mine the diamonds? A picaxe.
What does a picaxe need to be created? Ores.
How do you mine the ores? Wood.
Wood.
Wood, is definitely the most useful, and important item in Minecraft.
Without wood, you wouldn't be able to do anything.
Think about it, what if there were no trees in Minecraft?
See, wood is by far the most useful item in Minecraft.

The items that should be added into Minecraft~~
I agree with Lauren.
Music.
I, and probably most other players as well think music should be effectuated into Minecraft, so you don't have to download it separately.

I would say -purpur, chorus and wool cause they aren't hard but ugly when u build with em
I would say- bows, diamonds, obsidian, potions, enchanting books
I want -more commands, more command blocks, more Dyes, more animals

If it's in PC, the old pvp style and new parkour mechanism like to slide, wall run, wall jump, dive roll,and etc. If it's in PE, Command Blocks

If plants are useless, and they provide some of the food in Minecraft, then how can food by useful? I mean, food is useful, but if you call plants useless, then you're saying wheat, potatoes, carrots ect and useless.

Most useless: clownfish,thick/mundane potions and obviously deadbushes
Most useful: wood and diamonds,also obsidian and books and archery stuff
Please add command blocks, /gamerule,stained glass,sheids and more enchantments(incl. curses)
