Questions About Maps

Hello everyone!

I was thinking about building a map for MicroBattles, but first I need a bit more info. I use iOS, not jail broken.

First: How exactly do I connect my iPad to the computer?(Mac) Does it require some kind of cord or can it connect wirelessly?

Second: How do I zip the file in order to host the map? I would like to be able to do this without some weird downloading.

Third: Do I need to make an account to host it on the website?

Also: I've done a bit a research and there is an app called "iExplorer For Mobile" that is free without jailbreak. I'm wondering if I can use it to host maps straight from my iPad without having to connect to the mac.
