When someone report a hacker and ssun or Hazard ban him (her)... He (she) is only banned for 30 days or a global modo come after and re-ban him (her) permanently?

I ban the user permanently via the Admin Panel since I am rank: MOD on the server.

ssunsett can only ban for up to 30 days. I have to set any bans that she makes to permanent for her.

But why, when people are doing a ban-appeal, you say "you have only a 30 days ban", if you re-ban them after?

sometimes I don't get the time to set bans to permanent as I am at work or busy with other real life situations.
