question about netherite

can you get netherite armour and a netherite sword from mining ores?

I’m not really sure, I’ve mined tons of ores since netherite was added to Bl and none dropped netherite items, same with my friends, so my guess is no for now.

ye especially coal. They really need to have a limit bc some maps have way too many coal blocks

Yes like in the seasons map, my mind is saying to only mine til you have enough food and a diamond axe, but my eyes are saying: SO MANY ORES, MINE IT ALLLLL UP!!!!
