Of course Antarctica, who would even stay at desert, desert dont have things to hunt or eat, even desert only have dungeon(Pyramid) to hunt treasures probably xd

Of course no, sardines lives under the ice in water, water dont freeze to bottom, only surface but the ice is thick. Probably animals like from forest even cant live at Antarctica, cause they dont have thick furs like polar bear or Penguin (Dont have thick furs but have somekind of layers to keep them warm, according to Science).
