QOTD #5

When people think that "[person] and I" is correct in all situations, when in fact sometimes "[person] and me" is actually the right thing to say.
For example: "Do you want to come with Bob and I to the cinema?" FUDGING NETHER NO.
In this case, it should be 'me,' since you would say 'with us' and not 'with we.' I'd rather hear "[person] and me" used incorrectly in all situations than have "[person] and I" misused.

Okay, I just gave a mini grammar lecture. I'm sorry, I guess. But (yes, I started a sentence with a conjunction after complaining about grammar; I know it's wrong, but the point of this is that certain mistakes bother me while others don't) this mistake - assuming that "[person] and I" is always, without exception, correct - is something that bothers me deeply.
