I also still work part-time as a nurse, so I'm staying connected to the medical field. Eventually, I probably want to end up working in policy-making research.
what is it with parents always wanting their children to become either a doctor or a teacher and sometimes engineer2:
I always thought I wanted to become a teacher or a doctor because that was the standard set by my parents, become a doctor to get rich, haha! Howeverrr I ended up doing my bachelor's in Nursing because I wanted to be in the medical field without having to travel too far. The bachelor was nearby, and tbh, at that age you're still pretty young to figure out exactly what you wanna do.
Right now, I'm continuing my studies with a master's in Health Science because I discovered I really enjoy researching data, cost efficiency, and quality improvement. And alsoo... I am a teaching assistant at my uni, so I kinda am a teacher??I also still work part-time as a nurse, so I'm staying connected to the medical field. My definition of friendship is having someone you can be 100% real with 24/7. You don't necessarily need to chat every single day, but whenever you feel down, incredibly happy, or just need to rant and vent, you know you can go to them and they will keep it real with you in return![]()

loved ur story btwFrfr, when I was younger, I always used to think they pushed that just to get rich and have more money than where they came from. But as I got older, I realized they couldn't really communicate their feelings properly because of the language barrier. Since they moved to the West and had to adapt to a new culture, saying 'become a doctor' was just their way of wanting the best for their childrenwhat is it with parents always wanting their children to become either a doctor or a teacher and sometimes engineerloved ur story btw
