Age seems like the one thing that should obviously correct, but no. It's like that in a lot of movies, and I always find it strange.

It's true, what's so difficult about getting an actor the right age? A year or so off is reasonable, but when a twelve year old becomes a sixteen year old... no. You can't even argue that twelve is too young or something like that, HP started at eleven.
