Day 1
Sami gets out of the car, saying goodbye to his mother. She waves at him, he smiles and goes away. His first day of school starts. Walking, his eyes moves towards new students. He never felt like this before, just because he’s a transfer kid.
“Is that the new kid?”
Everyone stares at Sami. He went to get his locker code and search for his locker. Arriving at his locker, he tries to open it, but didn’t succeed. He struggles, and suddenly, a voice came.
“So you’re the new guy?”
“Yeah, my name’s Sami. And you are...?”
“Oh, nice name! Well, I’m Emory. Welcome to Analy High!”
“Thanks!”
Emory found him struggling to open the locker, so she helped.
“It’s actually my first time opening a school locker. My past schools had none. Anyways, thanks for your help!”
“You’re welcome! We should hang out some time!”
“Sure.”
Then she walked away. Sami smiles. Already made a new friend, good lord!
He came to his class earlier than the others. A few minutes later, the school bell rings. Meanwhile studying, a student came in. He was ten minutes late. He was finding the classroom and got lost, he apologized right after. The teacher warned him once, and told him to get in his seat.
“Hey, what’s your name?”
Sami asked the guy. His name is “Aristein”, definitely a nerd’s name. He wears glasses too. Sami wanted to be his friend, he agreed. Each moment in class, they would always sit next to each other and get in trouble by being talkative.
At lunch time, Sami sat in-front of Aristein. Right in time, Emory was there. Sami invited her to come join, she did came.
“Emory, this is Aristein. Aristein, this is Emory.” Sami introduces.
“Hey.” Emory and Aristein jinxed.
Sami takes his hand and hide away the adorable laugh. He simply ships both of them already, although they met today. Emory slaps him on his back, he started to feel the punishment. He took his cupcake and threw it on her face, but missed. The cupcake landed on a muscular guy, he saw Sami did it, so he threw his pizza. Somehow someone shouted, “Food fight!”. Everyone started to throw food at each other, in an aggressive way. They fought for three minutes, then the principal showed up.
“Who started this?” he questions.
“He did!” the muscular guy points at Sami.
“But that other guy shouted -food fight-!” Sami complains.
“Sir, it’s not his fault. It was me who slapped him, so he took a cupcake and tried to throw it at me but he missed. He threw it at him instead.” Emory defends.
“Alright, four of you, come with me!”
We followed after him. Aristein didn’t do anything, to be honest.
Entering the room, I sat on the chair, getting detention with the others.
“You messed up the first day already.” the big guy whispers.
“No, I did not! It was a mistake!” Sami said.
So on a couple hours later, they got released. After a couple hours, school ends. Sami’s mother picked him up. She asked him how was his first day of school. “Boring. I got detention, but I made two new friends.”. She continuously asks more questions until Sami felt tired. “That’s enough, mom!”, he shouts at his mother. She then drives quietly.
The day ends after they had dinner. Sami went to his room, finishes his homework and then sleeps. “Tomorrow will be a better day, absolutely.”, his mind thinks.
