It's funny how fast your life can change.

Have you ever thought about it?

Your life can change in a blink of an eye, and you can't do anything about it.

Incapable. Impotent. Vulnerable. Impuissant. Inutile.

So many different words, yet they all mean the same. Powerless.

You're powerless as you watch someone's life change. As their lives evolve incessantly. You blink continuously, hoping all their pain will just vanish. Hoping their life will spiral back to normal.
But, it doesn't. You watch as everything they've ever known, everything they've ever loved, is gone.
They've hit rock bottom. They're crippled. They're happiness and love has been drained out of them.
They're barely alive. There's nothing worth living for. Your last desperate scream is their last heartbeat.
And they fade away, leaving this unfair world.

They're dead.
At least-- that's what you thought...


"And you think you can do anything about it?"
