Problem with 1.13 software update

Are you taking about the new Minecraft update? If so I did that one already and nothing happened. I can still play like normal.

I heard there is some problem with 1.13 which is bad for servers. Is it true? If its true what is it?
It is true.

They are removing "debug symbols" from their releases.
We, third party server developers relied upon them to "reverse engineer" the minecraft protocol (since the bedrock edition protocol is not documented by Mojang) and provide our users with timely updates to the new versions of the game.
Most tools used to reverse-engineer the minecraft code, and extract the information we need to keep our servers updated are basically going to become useless, and we are gonna have to resort to do them by hand, and take "guesses" on things, which may introduce several issues and overall instability.

Without them, we are probably going to take way longer to update Brokenlens to new versions of Minecraft - as well as other servers. not sure if they will take a step back and revert this change. but for now that's what we know.
Once again Mojang is making our lives more difficult

So we shouldn't update our version to 1.13,right?
I dont understand why they are doing something like this.

Basically to make modding the client harder. (you know, hack clients and stuff).
But it also makes the third party server development harder. way harder than it should be if they still wanna keep their bedrock server community alive.

I think BrokenLens Team should be make announcement about it. I close to make updates automatically.

We will if Microsoft/Mojang releases 1.13 without the debug symbols.
And i wanna say i am using android and i turn off automatically update from google play store. But there is a lot people which is activated automatically update and if you download latest version, u cant download other version of the game. So it could be late if you do this announcement after 1.13 release.
