Hmm maybe idk...but if the report is private why not show evidence but cover up the reporter’s name

So basically if the evidence reveals the reporter's identity. If it’s a private report then the person most likely doesn’t wanna be known for doing it.
Depending on the case, then I could give the evidence and just block out a few things..but what happens when they find out who’s done it and bash them?
That’s the reason I rarely show people the evidence I have against them.
(If in a private conversation of course lol)
But still, you have to respect the fact they don’t wanna be known.
So we do as well, that’s another reason we sometimes can’t show it.
We can’t ban without enough evidence soo.. if you end up getting banned then we obviously have something against you, they could create a ban appeal and we’d tell them why.
Yep!So basically if the evidence reveals the reporter's identity.

It shouldn’t depend on the staff member. If I would have went to you, I would have gotten the evidence, but I didn’t, so now I can’t see it. I also believe that that’s a problem.I would of provided evidence. I don't know then. I guess it depends on the staff member.
If someone bashes someone over a report, isn’t that bullying? Being fearful of being “bashed” shouldn’t be a problem because bashing someone is basically bullying. I respect someone’s privacy but not for something that is as simple as targeting/teaming/hacking. If someone is actually targeting/teaming/bullying they should be the one being upset not the reporter. If it’s a private report then the person most likely doesn’t wanna be known for doing it.

Yeah but it happens and no one really does anything about it even if it is bullyingIf someone bashes someone over a report, isn’t that bullying? Depends if the user who gave evidence would be okay with that. Why can’t you just cross things out than?

I agree with this. If you can't see what others saw you can't argue back or clarify the situation, which leads to an automatic lose in defending yourself.Hey, it’s me and I’m complaining again. So, I’ve been banned 3 times and all 3 times were in private reports. Private reports are in private conversations or in private dm’s if you don’t know btw. So, I think it’s unfair and not right that people can’t see the evidence that shows why they’re banned because it’s in a private report. I mean, it THEIR report. The person who’s been reported should be able to at least see the evidence that they have been banned with if they want too. The person who’s been banned should have a fair opportunity to make a ban appeal but they can’t cuz they can’t even see the evidence. Also, I just don’t understand why people would make private reports (unless like bullying/harassment). Can’t they just make the report in player reports? I mean I feel like it would be easier for staff to have all the reports in one area.
