The days slowly became darker, and the moon at night has become impossible to see.
Day 3
When morning came, everyone was called over to have a trial to see who was guilty of the past 2 murders. The people almost unanimously voted for Zoey to be executed next. The trial room people took Zoey, and that was the last everyone saw of her.
While someone was going home, they met a person who asked them if they could stay over due to fear of the Lucid Killer, and the person going home reluctantly agreed to let the second person stay over.
Night 3
The first person had gone to sleep by now inside their room, and the second person was laying on their couch, awake. The person got up and walked over to the first person’s room. The person bound the sleeping person to the bed, reset the alarm for 1:00 am, and waited.
Icy’s alarm sounded, and as she tried to reach for it, she realized she couldn’t move her arm. She looked at her body and found it bound to the bed in a way that would be impossible to get out of without help. The alarm then stopped on its own. She struggled and tried to call for help, but her mouth was covered by a hand. She looked to her side and saw the silhouette of a person.
“Shhhh… be quiet, everyone is still asleep at this time. Everything will be alright.”
The person pulled out what looked like a syringe, stabbed it into Icy’s neck, and injected it.
“Don’t cry sweetie. You won’t ever have to suffer again.”
Icy’s eyelids began to feel heavy, and her eyes were full of tears. She was fighting off the drug that the person had injected into her, but she was losing. The person got up and just before they left the room, they said: “Sweet Nightmares.”
“Wh- why…” But the person had already left Icy to die. Icy gathered up the last of her strength and said: “I- I th-thoug-thought we wer-were f-fr-friends…”
A single tear rolled down her cheek before she fell asleep.
