permanently banning someone for being homophobic is too harsh? i don't think so
I mean the person could’ve been someone who was trying to act cool. Maybe they matured and learned that its not okay to make fun of the lgbtq+ community. Plus most people who say gay as an offensive term aren’t even homophobic but for some reason they act like it is.

yea a perm ban is just too much im sorry- maybe mute for 7 days. some people are raised on thinking that its okay to say it and dont know any better, so why permanently ban for something they rly dont know? im not gonna reveal whether i am in the community or not but i do see why its offensive, perm is still too much

we’ve always muted & banned players for being homophobic or racist (etc), we don’t tolerate that behavior whatsoever. It’s not necessarily a two day mute, it really just depends on the staff or situation at hand - I myself tend to mute longer for things that can affect someone mentally but then again there’s no specific mute periods for this situation in particular.

I’ve never seen anybody leave our network over being apart of the LBGTQ+ community though, I’ve barely even seen anyone be bullied for it honestly, the most common thing is people jokingly calling others gay (which isn’t ok either) but besides that our players seem to be extremely accepting and kind towards these things in general.
