Theres a lot of blood and gore. If you don't like bloody and gorey movies then watch the sinister or silent hill 2006. Both are scary as hell
Ill just make a list of gorey and non-gorey horror movies for you lol

• Evil dead. There are 3 versions but i like the 1981 one the most
• Chainsaw massacre 1974. This ones my favourite
• The red wood massacre
• Friday the 13th
• Halloween
• House of wax. This ones a fav too
• Childs play 1, 2, 3 and the remake as well
• The whole chucky series except for the newest one. It sucks

Non-gorey:

• Birdbox
• Wish upon
• Mama
• Silent hill 2006
• Mama
• The exorcist 1973
• Jerusalem 2016
• Poltergeist
• Insidious
• A haunting in connecticut 2
