Preparing you for the Better Together Update

Hello everyone and thanks for reading this.​

This thread will try to help me to help you to understand what is changing within the next update {1.2} also known as the "Better Together" update. The first thing that you may already know is that you will all have to create an Xbox account to access all servers on Minecraft Console, PE and Windows 10 edition. This will mean that you can no longer choose any username you want on our server and will have to stick to ONE username.

We have been speaking with @vertx about this and the fact that this update might confuse and frustrate a lot of players but we are hoping to transfer into the new update as smoothly as possible. We are looking into a way that players will still be able to access their BrokenLens statistics {Stats} by using their Xbox gamertag. This is not a confirmed feature as we are still looking into more detail on this.

This will be taking effect on All servers throughout MCPE & Windows 10 edition and many other servers might be reacting differently to this. The update is also going to be adding many new blocks as well as more features in the pause menu which we will have to try work a way around. This might mean that BrokenLens may or may not be ready for the 1.2 update but don't forget that vertx is only one guy and he codes almost the entire server.

From what we know the update is close to release and depending when it is released will depend if the server is ready to upgrade. If the update releases next week we are almost certain that BrokenLens will not be ready to update.

This sucks, I wish X-BOX could let me include under scrolls in my name...so i have to start all over again, idk how I'm supposed to get my friends back T_T

You can use a space instead of underscores. My gamertag is Hazard DutchAD but on BrokenLens it shows as Hazard_DutchAD

OK ok this is how I see it correct me if I'm wrong

You need to make a xbox accout
With the same name as ur User that u have now
Quickly as possible before anyone steals it or just makes it
So you can keep you lvl /stuff and u wont have to start over

ik all of that, I try to make the x-box account but if I enter my game name, it says it's already taken...

Okay I created an X-box live account and fortunately no one registered the name Sheldorium so I still have the same name,all statics and friends.

Hmm..
So anyone will have to login to x-box live and cant change there name anymore.
This could be a very good change because it would mean that hackers couldnt change their name anymore to bypass a ban.Think about it..
