There was yet another trial, in hopes to finally catch a Poisoner. Everyone agreed that Lyn had to be a Poisoner. She was beat to death by stones.
Were they correct?
Retro was enjoying some popcorn at her house, when she got a phone call from a friend.
Her friend told her to go to the park near the woods, because her friend wanted her to see something.
Retro packed her bag and left.
When Retro arrived, her friend greeted her with a smile and a hug. They chatted for a little bit, then her friend got something out of their bag.
They pulled out some flowers, ones that Retro had never seen before.
"Wow, those are pretty flowers," Retro commented.
"Yes, they are, aren't they?" Her friend responded, "why don't you give them a sniff? They smell wonderful."
Retro bent down and inhaled the intoxicating aroma.
She stood again, and felt weird. Her joints were freezing up and her stomach began to twist and turn.
"I-I should go home, I don't feel well," Retro sighed.
"You're not going anywhere," suddenly her acquaintance attacked her and pinned her down, removing her ability to move.
Retro screamed as loud as she could, and her friend just laughed.
"Nobody lives around here, I checked. There's no point," her friend laughed again.
"You're a monster," Retro choked. Retro has lost all feeling in her legs and arms, her whole body couldn't move.
"Hm, maybe, but I couldn't let you live, you're a doctor. That would ruin my whole plan, having you save people and whatnot," The murderer grabbed Retro,'s throat tightly and said through clenched teeth, "we can't let that happen."
The murderer picked Retro up and tossed her down the steep hill and into the woods.
They chuckled, then left.
