Gray was in his house making breakfast, when he invited his neighbor to come eat with him. His neighbor said they would be over in a minute.
Gray wanted plenty of food for his guest, so he made eggs, cinnamon buns and pancakes. He set the table with plates, napkins, silverware and glasses of water.
After he was done, he went to go brush his teeth.
Suddenly he heard his door unlock.
"Hello?" He asked.
He heard quiet creaking noises and the door closing.
He began to be frightful. His hands were sweaty and the room was spinning.
He locked himself in the bathroom and started to dial 911 when he heard someone's voice,
"Hello? It's your neighbor."
He gave a huge sigh of relief.
He unlocked the bathroom door and wandered into the living room.
"Where'd you go?" He called.
Suddenly somebody was on top of him, holding down his arms and legs.
He screeched and kicked at them, but suddenly he felt a pain in his arm.
"What did you do to me!?" He turned his neck enough to see a needle in his neighbor's hands.
"It will all be over soon. Don't worry," the person stood back up and walked around him.
"Wh-what's gonna h-happen to me?" Gray's face was numb and his chest hurt. His heart was beating slowly-too slowly. He couldn't manage to move his muscles enough to get up.
"What did y-you do to m-me?" He repeated.
His neighbor laughed. They walked over to him and sat down in front of him, smiling at his suffering.
"Wolfsbane. Or, Aconite, if you prefer. Practically untraceable, and a quite unique poison if I do say so myself," his neighbor responded.
Gray's chest felt like it would implode. It was hard to breathe, it was hard to even open his eyes.
"Eventually, the police will find you, on the floor, dead. They will wonder what happened. I'm curious if they'll figure out that you were poisoned,"
Gray glared at his murderer.
"Anyways, I have other important errands to attend to. See you, well, never!" The person left through the back door, just as Gray took his last breath.
Ham received an anonymous package at his door. He picked it up, brought it to his table and read the label.
"To an amazing friend," he read aloud.
He smiled and opened the package.
Inside was a box of chocolates.
"How thoughtful," Ham smiled again. He picked up a chocolate and ate it.
He grimaced. It was disgusting, but he swallowed it anyways. He knew he would never eat another one, but he put them in his cabinet.
He sat down on the couch and felt weird. He felt light-headed and his stomach hurt. Before he knew what was happening, he ran into the bathroom and threw up.
He stayed in the bathroom for a while, not feeling any better. Eventually, his muscles grew heavy and he couldn't get up. He lay there, suffering.
He took his last breath and his body went limp, then the figure in his window disappeared.
