So.... I read this book titled "Poetry for Pleasure",and it has many types of poem, I read 1 of this poem, I also learn it means at school, and the poem I read is called "My Hero"

My Hero

My dad's as brave as a dad can be,
I rate him Number One,
He's not afraid of the dead of night,
Or anything under the sun.

He's not afraid of a late night film,
Full of horrors on the telly,
And is he afraid of skeletons?
Not dad, not on your Nelly!

He's not afraid of meething ghosts,
He'd even smile and greet 'em,
And things that scares most dads the most,
My dad could just defeat 'em.

He's not afraid of vampires,
Or a wolf-man come to get him,
If Frankenstein's monster knocked on our door,
He wouldn't let that upset him.

My dad's as brave as a dad can be,
And he's always ready to prove it,
So why, when a spiders in a bath,
Does mum has to come and remove it?

I read and memories all of it, I didnt type this by read the book, I memories all of the stanzas xD

I also need to remember the meanings of each stanzas cause there might be a question about the poem next week when its exam, my exam start next week and I need to remember the meaning of it, incase theres question about the poem in my upcoming english exam xD

nice poem

Green
Green is a dazzling, exploding firework
It is the sound of wind rustling the leaves at the beginning of autumn
Green is the feel of the smooth scales of a snake
It is the sweet, rich, creamy taste of a spoonful of green tea ice cream
Green is the scent of dew on the grass before the sun comes up
It is the acidic taste of a lime
Green is an envious sibling with the tou you desire
It is a bright emerald dragonfly
Green is the feel of the silky body of a moth
It is the sound of someone slurping up a watermelon slushie
Green is the scent of a tomatilla
It is the taste of a bite of spicy wasabi
Green is the touch of a slippery frog that jumps out of your hands
It is a caterpillar inching up a branch
Green is the scent of a bright green flower
It is the sound of a wind chime tinkling

Why did i memorize this? xD
