The users you might be trying to talk to could also have chat muted or disabled like Sheriff mentioned.
I find though that I might not pay too much attention to chat if I am in the middle of a match for instance or if I am recording a quick clip.
Regardless, It's nice for all of us to chat on the server and stuff.

yes i see what you mean but they were talking to each other like 2 seconds before i tried to talk to them and it just went silent. maybee they just happened to go afk at that time but it gets frustrating over time lolol it makes me feel awkward and its not fun hdrywgdg

so i went on a alt acc and i was trying to befriend this player level 300 ish (theure nit even good at pvp) amd they just ignored me, but on my main acc they sent me multiple friend requests and follow me in games n want me on their team

ok idk if you consider level 1.2k like high but like i actually have barely used chat other than party/friends. I used to use it a lot but then ever since the amount of people chatting in the chat (as well as people chatting in english) have gone down, I kinda just stopped using it as well. But hey its been way too long since i’ve last played, like a month now lol.
