I actually don't have a Switch yet, and I don't play Splatoon. I was aware that the original maps were from Splatoon, since I saw SPLT A in a Splatoon video.
In terms of the decorations/detail, that was one of my main concerns when building the map. I tried adding the tent shown in the first screenshot to add some color, but overall I found it difficult to add detail to the map (since it is a mountain pass). I can upload a re-submission, if you want, that adds more detail, since it is pretty uniform as of right now.

Now... just a disclaimer... the advice I’m going to give will have to include rebuilding the map a bit.
...just a bit!
Okay... so the rebuilding portion would have to be the main part of the map; the mountains. As of now, they’re a bit 2-D and “wall-like” if that makes sense xD I’d suggest making the mountains more round and 3-D, making them more cone shaped rather than triangle or ridged, jagged points. Also, I suggest using more blocks found in actual Minecraft generated mountains. For example, stone, andesite, and cobblestone are a great mix. For the snow-capped tips, I suggest using snow and snow block (of course).
Other than the actual mountains themselves, I think the map is awesome! Great job!
