offhand bridging

My friend on Java tried to put blocks in his offhand and bridge, somehow the blocks were invisible to me and there was no collision, and then he got kicked

is this a bug

Same thing happened to me when i was playing sw on java. @Eyow189 once spectating and asking me how come i can fly there. Gladly there was no any misunderstanding.

still on the topic, if this occurs more often more players will get ban with reasons like this, yux just got lucky that i observed it first before i report him.
