Not sure if it’s just me

I’m not sure if it happens to other PC players and PE so basically....
I normally quickly press the number keys to quickly eat and switch back to my weapon/tool but sometimes when I do that it just changes my weapon/tool to the food I just ate (also means my weapon/tool disappears)
(Sorry if there’s any bad grammar I’m just tired)
