In the second half of 2019 I was addicted to the game and I was playing it a lot. I loved this server and its community.
I was really hyped about the new game that stuff said "it will be released in beginning of 2020 and it's a really unique game that other featured servers don't have" I was really, really excited about it. And the time passed, I started school and left Minecraft (kinda bored from the game). I was visiting the forums just because I was really wondering the new game.

I just downloaded the game and started playing with my sister. I tried almost all the featured server (which I have played before I left the game) and I was really suprised with the new features and new games that they added within a year. They were really great. There were no lag because they have a Europe server (which BrokenLens doesn't have) and everything were great.

Then I played Brokenlens and literally nothing changedOnly an npc says "Upcoming game"
Is that really all?
Even tho I don't care about it much, there is no new feature in Ranks. When I bought it, it said that
"New features coming 'too' soon!"
Is more than 3 year soon? Really?
The things you said like "It's really unique game, vertx is working really hard on it" Was it a joke?
 
Vertx has been really busy (and so has the build team), he didn’t want to leave us with nothing these past few months so he added smaller features so we had some kind of entertainment, but because of in real life stuff he can’t Finnish testing the new game for bugs yet, it’s such a hassle making a new game and isn’t as easy as it plays out to be. Just because some people have all day to spare due to quarantine doesn’t mean everyone else has, some still have responsibilities to do and can’t devote hours to a game.

Along with that the BT has to Finnish all their maps which is also hard since building takes a lot of time and work, we really need to be considerate of everyone in these times imo

Oh yes, all the constant nights without sleep, the frustration and pressure to get something out as he was (IS) working so much to the point he barely even talks with his friends must’ve been an extremely funny joke.

Vertx is one person, he is one single person. We are not featured servers, we don’t have a team of people to get out a game, he does it all on his own and for one person doing all those codes I’d say he’s doing far better than anyone else could.

I don't say "was it a joke" to Vertx's hard work. I am sure he is working hard to release the new game since he did all the game on the server himself. Which is probably needs a lot of work. It is definetly hard for him and I respect that he has his own life. As I said, I didn't mean that.

What I say is that some stuff said that there will be a gamemode in 2019 and there weren't. I definetly remember me and an another player asked a stuff (I don't remember) "When is the new gamemode?" and he/she said that " In 2019". Me and the other player was joking because it was a long time and not spesific. This is why I wrote this. You can see in my profile how much I much I was hyped about the new game.
I truly didn't mean that "Vertx doesn't work enough, you are lying."

i can see where you're coming from! but as the others have said, it takes a really long time. the only thing we can really do is just support vertx and ya know, just be positive!
i totally see where you're coming from though, you're super excited and nothing major has really come yet!

I can see both points on this.
Vertx is working super DUPER hard on this but it is taking loads of time to do. What is odd is one of the builders did say "the new game" is their favorite meaning It's playable. This most likely means that there is loads of bugs that are being fixed as of currently with it. I think the next update won't just be the new game but WAY more content with it (mainly an absolute B E E G. B E E G yoshi sized amount of maps with it as well as other minor server changes.)
I really want a new game but it is going to take some time especially with the nether update creating loads of bugs.
I see all points to this and respect them. I do hope though that @vertx doesn't rush out any content that isn't ready to be played.

Edit: I do hope the new game doesn't die out in like a week when it releases. Hopefully it can apply to general audiences enough for a playerbase!
