I think people should be allowed to vote who they think should be a staff member, obviously this wouldn’t be the final answer, but it would definitely show staff what people want. (@DarkRainbows and @HermioneJG for staff)
I think you should be able to vote two times due to mixed optinions.

I think you shouldn’t be able to vote for yourself (Obvious reasons)

As i said, this in no way elects, or guarantees staff, it’s just a way for people to let staff who they want.

I can't tell if that was an example or if you genuinely meant you thought I could be a good staff member, but if it was the latter... I couldn't :I

It seems kind of like a good idea to me. As you said, it wouldn't guarantee that someone with a lot of votes becomes staff, so it's not like that would be a problem. The staff would just be able to see who most people think could be good staff members, and then they still have to make their decisions on whether they agree.
But then... there might be some people who see that they aren't getting a lot of votes and start to flip out over it :/

This in certain situations is a good idea except there is the people who will be biase and pick there friends which ok these friends could be capable of being a staff member or they will suck. I've seen another server that recruits new staff but for there first few weeks are mentored by the senior staff which i think is a great idea.
But your idea blue could start arguments say some people wanted dark as a staff member and some other people want shive as a staff member but vertx was only picking one new staff member that would cause an argument. There is quite a lot of cons to this idea lol.

In these situations staff are perceptive enough to know and not take it as seriously.

(Staff are usually trained with Helper or Trial but sometimes they train automatically to be mod or admin)
