New rule [ and a message to all of you ]

I don't think there should be a punishment for e-Dating because that's kind of being controlling over someone's feelings and emotions. A lot of us here are teenagers and know how to handle themselves and it's really up to them to explore their options. Honestly, this is like banning tinder or other dating websites.

Minecraft is not a dating website, but it does serve for opportunities, like Crystal said. It could definitely work out as there are success stories all over the globe when it comes to love over the internet. My own teacher started an online relationship and she is now married for 4 years with that same man.

That I can agree one. No punishment. To be honest, nothing needs to change in Brokenlens with this rule. I just wanted to say something, because I’m worried someone would get harassed; that’s all. But if y’all disagree so much, it doesn’t matter anymore.

Just so you know, your opinion does matter, and yeah there are risks to online dating like getting harassed, I know what you mean.

I Know my opinion doesn't matter but my personal traumas are forcing me to write this,,

I feel like it's okay to E-date on minecraft like it's whatever,, it's something to laugh and be embarrassed about when you're older,,
but if you're under 16 you shouldn't date anyone that's known to be older than that. It can probably be a traumatic experience or whatever if you catch your "partner" cheating or doing things you might not understand.
I'm not against relationships because I've been in a few but I would recommend being with someone in your age group haha,, as a previously 14 year old who dated a 17 year old I wouldn't recommend it. Date whoever you want but not actual adults who shouldn't be on a minecraft server in the first place..

Just stay safe! Be aware! Get out of a relationship if you don't feel comfortable, safe, or happy! You come first

But seriously , make E-Dating a rule

1st of all , it’s weird to date when your 13-14 yo [normally it’s at 18yo] , and most of people e-dating here , that’s why we should not support e-dating on Brokenlens

2nd of all , I had problems in the past with this going to depression and darkthoughts , and I don’t want to encourage this when someone is cheating in e-dating or something , it goes to that , so I want to prevent this !

If it’s a new rule , I want to send a message to all of you watching this thread , Do not E-Date , you will probably find love in your adolescence but it is not your time , for thoses who are 18yo or more , is it better to date IRL or E-Date ? Think about this question about a minute and you will realize that you made the wrong choice ...

You never know who you are dating. You could possible be dating a 60 y/o pedo, thinking that they are of your age.

It shouldn't be a rule of BrokenLens, it should be an international law lol

I've actually gotten harassed like that before, don't want anyone else to experience it as well, but again, i'll have to go with both.
