I've noticed the mindless players that walk around the server who haven't registered yet, and it got me thinking. The mindless players that walk around the server joined Broken-Lens, because they wanted to play the server's games, but if you are not registered you can't play or even chat without doing the one command and many new players don't even know how to type in chat to become registered, so why can't we change it to where the unregistered players get to play games too? This could help with the low population in some games where hardly anyone plays them and could help the server become more populated in general as well as it might even get more registrations with the unregistered people being exposed to more than a simple lobby.

Not that good suggestion. As far as i know they need to register in case they hack or do something against the rules they can be ban/muted etc. Also i think the levels/ranks/stats etc. wouldn't be stored if you're not registered.

Yes, thats understandable, but it gives the player something beyond just waiting in a lobby to figure out how to register

I think the information is enough for them to do that, at least they've shown in the chat guiding them the /login command. But I think it would be nice if unregistered players get sth inside their hotbar. By right clicking/holding would pop out the registration menu.

Let me explain why players need to register. BrokenLens Games is a cross-play server between the two surperior versions on Minecraft called Java and Bedrock editions, with a feature letting Minecraft non-Xbox users (players not signed in on xbox) play in the server without needing an Xbox Live. With registering on the server it helps the users to create thier own account in the server, plus Minecraft Java and Bedrock edition had different sign-in system, without the servers regestring system, accounts might get duplicated, etc. Thats my theory on BrokenLens Games, log-in system.

That makes a lot of sense as to why, but in my opinion just like you said the register should pop up on screen, so we dont have all these mindless players walking around.

What if instead they can play as a guest and they’re stats won’t be saved

Actually that doesn’t fix the situation xD

Yeah, we shouldn't have unregistered players join games, they would take the advantage to cheat and cant be banned because they ain't registered!
So I suggest that we keep it as is where you have to register!
