New MM Map Question

So I love the new map (Forest) to the heavens but I was confused because I don’t have the full render distance. It only shows just a little of the map at a time. I’ve turned the Render Distance to as many chunks as I can (6 chunks) and it still doesn’t show me it. Is it because it’s raining? Sorry, I’m literally so dumb.
