New minecraft update is TRASH

Bruh the character creator sucks. And the devs said it was to “personalize yourself”. Yeah, if you have rich as heck parents or mom’s credit card to buy trash cosmetics. I mean, minecraft is already bought with money, and is the number 1 game in the world, and yet is plugged with micro transactions. Wow Mojang ur becoming EA the greatest company good job. At least you could import your own skin in searching through the character creator. And it’s impossible to connect to servers now. Brlns just kicks me when I try to go to it, and the normie servers disconnect me right when i die after playing a game. (I don’t blame the servers I blame Mojang.). On the bright side, at least they added foxes. Awwwwwww so cute.
I don’t hate Mojang, but they need to realize some things they are adding suck. At least 1.15 and the Nether update will be good lol.

You actually are supposed to be able to get some exclusive stuff for completing certain achievements though, and depending on what they are, I might like the creator a little.

This is a small update though, so I'm not expecting a ton from it, the only thing that I actually strongly dislike is the removal of the "debug symbols" that vertx mentioned elsewhere, which means you can't update if you want to keep playing on BL until or if vertx can update the server. (edit, apparently you can use 1.13 on BL xD)

I still think we should be respectful of the developers, I'm pretty sure most of them are genuine people who want to help the game

I have another device I could play BRLNS on due to me not updating on that one. But Mojang (f bombed) up on this update. I like the devs though, but what they did was a bruh moment.

I like the new update. Yes I do find it a bit annoying that you have to buy cosmetics, but that’s why Mojang asks for comments and suggestions! I am probably going to suggest them make the cosmetics free, and hopefully people vote on it.

Yeah but players play on servers too and so that's part of the game. They've neglected servers for years. None of their updates have been server friendly at all, and what do cosmetics do to make the game better, there's already skins which have much more customisation. They are a good company full of talented people, but they need to make the game better in different ways.

they also want to make money.the whole purpos of a game is to make money off of it,and by doing that they have to do stuff that isnt server friendly.

if they werent so popular,then there wouldnt be a minecraft.

We would have missed out on nothing good, my friends. You could say that Mojang need the money, but remember that Minecraft isn't even a free to play game! And with millions of downloads every year, they have no need for any of this extra cash other than to make more creeper toys or spin off games to capitalise on Minecraft before it's too late. They know with the release of Hytale comes a new dark age for Minecraft, and they plan to squeeze out every pound from the game and it's poor community.

I agree with you so much. I think Hytale too is the thing why minecraft is adding this stuff because Mojang is scared. Honestly if Mojang is trying to become EA, I’m moving to Hytale! (Okay I would still play minecraft when Hytale comes out) The only reason a character creator was added was because Hytale had it (Oh right, Mojang is adding scripting too. Definitely doesn’t sound like Hytale). Lol Mojang even plugged it with micro transactions. I LOVE minecraft, and worried for it nearly as much as I am hyped for Hytale. But the devs have the wrong response to Hytale. The devs should just try a bit harder, and convert Minecraft to a game engine. (That would help minecraft development a lot.) I’m not expecting anything insanely god level from the devs, which I respect, but making something like this from the #1 game in the world is honestly stupid.
