Hello everyone! I had an idea for a game that seems pretty cool. I am always really detailed in explaining so if you don't feel like reading the whole thing click the button below.
Some of my favorite minigames to play are PVE games, where the players are put in arena and must kill hordes of mobs. The biggest problem I have with these games is the fact that they take a really long time to play. One time I spent a whole 30 minutes in a single round.
Brokenlens to me has always stood out from other servers. With the custom ore drops in skywars, the golden hoe mechanics in murder mystery, and the multiple gun types on quake-craft, this server introduces things that most others don't have. So, this is what my idea is.
Unlike other cooperative PVE games, this one could have a competitive aspect to keep game times down to ~6-7 minutes. Essentially, there would be multiple rounds of mob spawns depending on how many players there are. Each round, all surviving players are given better equipment, but new and more powerful mobs spawn. Each type of mob could award a certain number of points based on difficulty (for example zombie gives 1, creeper 3, etc.), and at the end of each round the players with the least points are eliminated, in addition to anyone the mobs killed off. (If this is possible: In the last round, only two players are left. They are both given resistance V and tons of mobs spawn). Because of this mechanic, not every mob needs to be killed to end a round, it can just be set to a timer instead.
