Ok some of you wanted to see my pc now after I added a dvd player and replaced the rams heatsink with rgb heatsink!

I already shown this to Eriell, but that's when I didn't fix my cable management, honestly my case is the worse for cable management. I do not recommend the Fractal Design Focus G Mid tower case!

These upgrades is what cancelled last Gartic Wednesday!

So here you go!

That's a nice setup.
I like how you have lighting set up inside the case.
Cable management's pretty good.
Seems like a pretty balanced rig. Good processor and a good graphics card.
I'd recommend getting an ssd (Either sata or nvme.) if that's in your budget for boot later down the line as that would improve responsiveness significantly.

yeah I do need to get an ssd in the future, especially for windows 10 pro!
I might go nvme that plugs in one of the pcie slots so I dont have to worry about re-doing all my cables!

That's a great card but it's way too expensive when considering the current market if it's even available in the first place.
Plus I think it would lead to a cpu bottleneck when gaming or running productivity workloads.
I would recommend that he get an ssd instead as that's one of the main things that would dramatically improve his build.
Night and day difference.

The official MSRP for the Rtx 3070 is 500 dollars although it's completely out of stock on Best Buy even with some cards approaching a thousand dollars.
Newegg's cheapest 3070 that is in stock is a used one for 1,250 dollars.
Amazon has a few 3070's available with prices ranging from 1,520 dollars to 1,750 which is absolutely insane.
To be able to find a 3070 for MSRP would be to find a needle in a haystack and even then, I don't really think it would be a worthwhile upgrade for his setup. It's about twice as fast but it's much more than twice as expensive at MSRP and that just doesn't seem worth it imo.

I am planning to get an rtx card in the future, but it would have to be a rtx 2060, 2070, or 3060. If I go any higher, then it's overkill and will cause large bottlenecks!

But I might also just keep my graphics card sense all I play is Minecraft, Among Us, Magic The Gathering, Sims 4, and possibly vr games if I can get that do work with my phone as I got a program that makes my Nintendo switch controllers act like vr controllers! Also Minecraft Java have path tracing shaders for non-rtx cards called SEUS PTGI, which act's like ray tracing!

But like Software said, it's too expensive right now because of scalped prices. I bought my gtx 1060 as new $170. But now the GTX 1060 now sells for around $300-450 for USED!

So yeah, the gpu market is very bad at the moment!
