Ummm...be blind because if you were transparent then light would go THOUGH your eyes and not reflect in them, and your eyes need light like that to see
But he's not wrong... if your irises are transparent then you'll have WAY too much light entering your eye, and then your retina is transparent so there's no 'screen' for the light to focus/land on.can u just answer the question instead of acting like a know it all like i swear this question gets asked a lot but no one answers with that.

Blue have you read the Reckoners trilogy? It's an AMAZING series by Brandon Sanderson, the first of his that I read and probably my favourite. That's mentioned when it comes to invisible Epics (supervillains), that they need light to strike their irises.
Anyway if I was invisible, I'd... what I do depends on whether or not my clothes turn invisible with me, actually
