Well if it comes in a cone you get more food (since the cone is edible).
A stick is more portable and less messy (if you keep the wrapper on the stick while you hold it so it drips in there if it starts melting).
A bowl/cup can't get messy, it'll all just end up in the bowl, and you can add toppings of whatever at anytime.
I guess bowl .-. xD

I eat my ice-cream on a cone (waffle cone) because I don't have to wash or trash the bowel. Plus, I love bitting from the bottom first, especially drumsticks (my favourite ice-cream)
