Late chapter, sorry
Chꍏpter 2- Who's Eric?
"Yea, it has been an awfully long time." Sadly glancing over the dining room.
"Maybe it's time for us to go?" Evie suggests.
The group started to panic a little bit, some even started to sprint towards the front doors and windows.
"What the hell-" Sadly pulls on the door lock but it won't budge.
"What's wrong Sadly? Just open the darn door!" Tan puts pressure onto Sadly.
"It won't open." She turns to the crowd with a shooked face.
"Hey, Icy." Tan walks over to Icy.
"Did you happen to lock the door before coming in?" He tells her.
"Um, not that I think of, no?" She takes a step back, spilling her wine onto the carpet.
"Oh shoot. Check the windows." Sadly points to them.
Wolfie rushes towards the windows, pulling on the lock but gets stuck.
"It won't open." She answers.
Everyone in the room knew what this all really was.
"THIS WAS A TRAP! I knew it!" Sadly points to Icy.
"I knew it! I knew it all along!" She continues to yell at Icy.
"Sadly, shut up! This is no time to be pointing fingers." Evie clarifies.
"What we need are teams." Tan pushes himself into the crowd.
"And how will this makes us better if I may ask?" Ian calmly says.
"Ian, you seem calm. I thought you would be those types of people that will slam themselves onto a wall in a midnight crisis." Tap explains to him.
"Well, my parents take me to 'calming classes'. I was not always like this." He keeps on saying.
"Um, Ian, I think you're missing the point here."
"Sorry."
"So, since there are 17 of us, I decided to split every one of you into 4 groups." Tan hands out a fancy piece of paper that was given for the invitations.
"What the-" Sadly quickly realized that these were the exact same papers that were given on the letter.
"Where in Gods did you find this paper?" She holds it in front of Tan.
"Oh, that was easy. Some idiot left them on the living room table." He looks at them.
"But doesn't matter. And before anyone asks, no, I won't be asking you how I did this so quickly." He continues to hand out the fancy paper that had the names for each group.
"Two teams will explore this floor. The other two will explore the top floor." He plays with his hands.
"Now, move it, people! And if you encounter the Big E, then do me a favor and kill him. I will be here waiting in case he comes."
After Tan was done talking, the groups heading for their positions.
10:00 p.m.
Team 1;
"Alright, now since I'm the smartest guy here, I will be your commander, do y'all understand?" Ian studies them.
Nobody said a word and continued to talk amongst themselves and ignored him.
"AND you guys just proved my point." He stops for a minute and continues to move on. The group realized that he was those serious guys that could beat you up if you didn't pay attention which is the only reason why they followed him.
They searched for every room in the hallway they were sent too but unfortunately, finding nothing.
"I just find it pretty scary that every time I open a door, the thunder sounds outside. I know you little kids don't care but that's just me."
Team 2;
"Okay team, this is no time for Instagramming or messaging your puny little friends, this is serious stuff." Sadly claps her hands.
"I see that phone, put it away!" Sadly disgustingly tells one of her crewmates.
"Can't believe the nerves of some people." She rolls her eyes in anger.
Sadly team explore the other half of the room where Team 1 wasn't exploring at the moment. The thunder outside was strong enough to cut down an entire forest if it wanted to. "Nothing in these doors but there is something I can tell. Whoever lived here has no taste in fashion." She looks at her nails.
"Ew got some dust." She adds on.
Her team did nothing but roll their eyes as they continued to walk.
Team 3;
"This guy is a creep I tell you." Evie fixes her flashlight.
"Now now Evie, let's not be that tough in this guy. Remember, he was nice to give us food when his stocks were dropping." Icy flickers her flashlight.
"Yea, but, I still hate this guy for locking us in here." Evie gets mad.
"Aright, you explore this half while I explore the other half." Icy points to the room.
"What about us?" The other two tell them.
"You guys go with Evie, now, go!"
Both of them searched top to bottom in each room, hoping to God that they weren't shut close behind them. They had no luck in finding something. "Any luck Evie?" Evie shakes her head.
Team 4;
"You're an A student Super. Tell me some facts about this place." Arya begs him.
"I may know a lot in school but not some dudes house." Super fixes his glasses.
"Alright, nerd."
Super and Arya flash their light to the hallway they were meant to explore along with the other two behind them. "Wait a minute, that door is open?" Arya shivers as she points to the door.
"Maybe we-" but Super wasn't paying attention to Arya and started to run to the room with no regrets.
"HI-YA!" He kicks the door like a master ninja only to see a room like the rest of the others.
"Doesn't look strange," Arya tells him. They both searched everything in the room.
"Wait a minute, this is the Big E's bedroom!" Super shivers a little.
"Well, it sure does smell like an old rage in here, that's for sure, pee-you."
Super and Arya were about to leave until she steps on a puddle of blood.
"Wait, Super!" Arya flashes her flashlight under the bed. "Holy m-m-other of G-god."
"Is that... a body?" Arya covers her mouth.
She quickly gets up from her knees and tells Super, "Wait, Who's Eric again?"
